I sat anxiously outside the offices. I had been waiting for my father who was talking to the judge for the past hour.

Before I knew it, my dad came out and he picked me up from my seat.

"Cade is being released today. Right this minute." He said in glee.

I smiled and my fears were relieved. Cade was free.

My dad and I waited patiently outside for him.

"You know, I've got to say, Cade is a fierce character. I like him. You should keep him." My dad said.

I smiled and grasped onto my jacket. I couldn't help but think of what had happened earlier with Norman. I just hope it wouldn't mess things with Cade and I.

A familiar scent approached me from behind and the same old love striking embrace held onto my waist from behind.

"Blue." Cade said.

I turned to face him and I hugged him.

Damn I missed how he made me feel.

The welcoming was fun and cheerful. We went back to my place and dad came along as well. I called over Ember and Max too.

I can't say much about the celebration, it was alright. We were altogether and happy. And my parents seemed to have reconciled.

"Thank you for helping her." Mom said to Dad.

"It's the least I could do after all those years." He said back to her and they hugged.

I'm not sure what they said to each other but an announcement followed afterwards.

"Umm Maia and Cade, take care of the house, we're going out." My mom said.

I winked at her cause I knew exactly what was going on.

Anyway, later on, Ember and Max left and it was dark already. We went to my room and I knew it was time for adventure.

He kissed me with full passion and I was losing my breath.

Things took a nasty turn, when he turned to my neck. I was in the zone and he stopped.

"Maia, what is this?" He asked.

"What is what?"

"Is this a hickie?" He asked.

Oh shit!

"Umm no, I uh..." I was tongue tied.

"Wow! So Norman was right. I thought he was just trying to get under my skin. So you guys are a thing?"

"Cade it's not what it looks like. I can explain."

"No, it's ok. I was in jail and you needed a shoulder to lean on. That's what you're gonna say right?"

I rolled my eyes and he turned his back on me.

I hugged him from behind.
His bare back was warm and comforting... only if he knew how much I had missed him.

"I just want you to know that I did it for you. I would've even have talked to him if I didn't want to help you Cade. I just got distracted."

He completely ignored me, broke away from my grip and went into the bathroom.

"I need to take a shower." He said.

I honestly didn't know what to do. I took my clothes off and followed him.

I faced him in the shower. The water running down my body and his. His hair was wet and sexy. I looked up and down his body. I just couldn't get enough of him. He's so tall and handsome as hell. He's so bad but he does it so damn well.

"Cade, I'm sorry." I apologized.
"I got carried away, all I know is that I love you and I want to be with you."

He pulled me into a hug.

"I love you more than anything else in this world. But I can't help it but question my trust for you. This is practically cheating." He reasoned.

"I won't argue but it wasn't my intention. I guess this is all my fault. I'm the one who called you after the rape anyway. I'm the one who led to all this and I'm sorry for being such an inconvenience to you." I cried. Literally.

"You're not an inconvenience, you're my heaven sent gift actually. My trust is just running low. And I hate that guy. I'm gonna break his face, I swear."

"It's not worth it Cade. He's not worth it." I said.

He shook his head and pulled away from the hug.

I took advantage of the quiet moment and I used my hand to grab his manhood.

"Sex is not going to fix this right now." He hissed.

He got out of the shower and left there, naked and alone.
