Cade and I rose early in the morning for school, feeling an exciting glow from the previous night.

Walking into the hallways of River High, terror filled my mind.

"What's going on?" I asked Max.

"The police are still here. They'd like to interrogate some of the students who were close to Jack." He told me.

"But why's that? Haven't they found him yet?"

"No, but I think Cade is in trouble." He told me.

"How? Why?"

"Alison is claiming that Cade beat him up."

"Ahh God, I need to talk to her."

I rummaged the hallways looking for Alison.
Upon finding her, I grabbed her by the hair and dragged her to a private place.

"Ouch you're hurting me." She complained.

"I don't really care, what have you been telling the police?" I asked.

"Oh that your pathetic boyfriend harassed Jack."

"He didn't harass anyone Alison." I defended.

She laughed.

"If only you knew how dumb you sound right now. You don't even know what happened and here you are defending that monster you call a boyfriend." She said.

Well she was right. I didn't really know what Cade has done to Jack.

"You're calling Cade a monster? Your boyfriend is the one who raped me. You're an unbelievable hypocrite." I said and turned to leave.

Before I could completely go out of her sight she stopped me.

"If anything bad happens to Jack, it's Cade's fault." She said.

I rolled my eyes and left. I had to find Cade.

I found him and Ember by my locker.

He turned and faced me.

"What happened that night I was raped. What did you do to Jack?" I immediately asked.
