I left Cade's home. I just had to. Not after the words he said. He said it himself... what if our hearts were made of glass? Maybe he'd be more careful with his and mine too. And once it's broken you can't fix it.

Speaking of, I got a text from Jack.

It read; 'Blue please come over. I'm barely hanging by a thread. We need to settle this once and for all.'

I was planning on ignoring it but then I remembered what Ember had texted me earlier. If I didn't go over to Jack's maybe he was going to commit suicide. And even though he's done some pretty bad things, I can't just let him die. I took a cab over to his place. It had gotten really cloudy and I was expecting the rain at any moment.

Walking up the porch I rang the bell on the front door several times and no answer.

Am I too late? I asked myself fearing that he could've killed himself.

"Jack?" I called out.
"Jack open up, it's me."

And there was still no answer. It was getting darker and darker outside and I became fearful. I decided to go to the back door and it was wide open.

"Jack are you in here?"

And nothing. No answer. I screamed when I saw pills on the floor. I was careful not to touch any of them so I used my foot to check them out. There were out of date description pills. My fears grew stronger than my concern for Jack so I decided to leave.

"Where do you think you're going?" Jack asked marching from the hallway.

"Jack, umm I thought you weren't home. You asked me to come over. What's the deal?" I questioned.

"The deal?" He laughed and stepped forward and locked the door I had entered through.

"Why did you lock the door?" I asked, my heart racing a mile a minute.

"Haha. You're so naive Maia, I didn't think it would be this easy. But hey thanks for being so pathetic. It makes my mission a lot easier." He said.

I galloped.

What was he talking about. And even though he called me naive I wasn't going to stick around to find out what his mission was.

I took off. I ran past him, and looked for another door to exit. I tried to open the front door but it was jammed.

"Help me! Someone!" I called out.

"Aww poor thing. But they won't hear you." He said as he grabbed me by the waist and forcefully put his open lips on mine.

I tried with all my energy to fight him and push him away but it seems like he was taking away all my strength. After how drained I was from Cade and everything, I was at my weakest point.

I gave him a harsh kick on his manhood and he fell to the ground.

"You evil bastard. What is wrong with you?" I said as I started running away from him.

I ran all the way upstairs in search of a way to exit. To my dismay, I didn't find any so I hid behind one of the bookshelves.

The impact made me weaker than I was before.

"I told you I would get my revenge on you Maia." He cursed.

"This is what it's about? Revenge? Because I told Ali you cheated on her?" I yelled in his face.

He sent a heavy punch right into my nose.

"Shut up! You're dead meat. What do you say we have a little fun huh? I'm sure Cade wouldn't mind me getting a little taste of you. I doubt he'll even care if we hit it, he doesn't even love you." He said.

"In your dreams. Fuck you Jack! And I know that he loves me." I cried.

"Oh please, I've already been with Kendall, what more you? You're just a cheap tramp. And what makes you so sure he loves you?"

"Because he told me so." I said faintly.

"Welcome to hell Maia."

He said and those were the last words I remembered from that night.

Jack carried me. He pushed me into the wall and he began to strip me.
I cried, screamed and called out for help as many times as I could remember. But no one came to the rescue. I tried to fight him back with all that was left of me.

He was raping me.

I spat in his face and he got distracted for some time. I reached for Jack's phone and dialled Alison's number.
