Leonard Snart (I couldn't bring myself to use someone else, I loved him as Snart too much)

My favorite part of my job, old and new, had to be dressing up. Wearing something eyecatching had been something Selina taught me, dolling myself up so even after the cat was out of the bag, I was still something nice to look at. Easy on the eyes, not on the pockets, in her case. In my case, it wouldn't be easy on mine or any other's reputations, besides Barry's that is.

However, those thoughts were pushed to the back of my mind as I stepped into my old scene. The feeling of eyes on me hadn't lessened since I stepped out of Selina's building, but it was a sensation I had grown accustomed to long before prison, even. I walked up to the bar with a little grin on my face, leaning against it as I looked over a one-time business partner. "Lenny Snart, is that really you?" I laughed in a disbelieving tone, my grin growing when he turned around with a raised brow.

He looked me over for a moment before giving a soft sigh. "Is that really you, Andy?" My grin was wide and toothy as he raised his glass to his lips, preparing himself for my attitude. Worked for me, the drunker he was, the easier it would be for Barry.

"The one and only," I giggled. Leonard hailed the bartender and turned his focus for me.

"What happened to you?" he hummed curiously. "Last I heard you were locked in a cage."

"This birdie set herself free," I chuckled, shaking my head when the bartender waited for me to pick a poison. When Lenny took notice, I shrugged it off. "I'm a recovered addict, I don't need something pushing me off that edge again." He nodded and raised his newly-filled glass to me before taking another drink. "How's work been treating you? I hear this 'Flash' has been running around hindering a lot of people with our jobs."

"I'm managing," he sighed, setting down his glass as his body turned more towards me. "I've found a way to slow that punk down." He pulled back his parka and exposed the handle of a gun, though it was unlike any I'd seen, pulling a low whistle from me.

"What's she do?" I asked curiously, leaning towards him a bit.

"Freezes things to Absolute Zero, no movement of the molecules. If he can't move on that level, he won't be able to move at all." I nodded in understanding. It was a smart move, if I were working against Barry I'd team up with Lenny again. He'd always been an interesting heist partner, an even more interesting person.

"You really thought that out, didn't ya?" I honestly didn't think he was smart enough for something like this. "Where'd you pick her up?"

"The old fashioned way; stole it from S.T.A.R. Labs," he softly chuckled before taking another sip of his drink. God, the longer I sat here the longer I wanted a drink. I think Lenny was starting to notice because he raised a brow at me. "You sure you don't want a drink? You look like you're jonsing."

"Yeah," I sighed, pushing off the bar. "I'm gunna hit the little girls room." I patted his shoulder as I past him, feeling his eyes lurk on me as I turned the corner. It was fairly loud in here, the sound of my call wouldn't carry far, but I wanted the cold air on my skin to remind me of why I was staying away from intoxicators. By the time I had hit the cold air, and propped the back door open enough to not lock me out, my phone was already ringing.

"Andy? What're you doing at this hour?" Barry asked curiously, his breathing a little rushed.

"I could ask you the same, Speedy," I chuckled. "In at least five minutes, come geared up to Charlie's Pub. Leonard Snart needs some company."

"Wha-- You were serious?!" I laughed a bit at his shocked tone, his voice alone able to dampen my irritation.

"Of course, Barry. And be careful about it, he has this...cold gun, sounds like it was specifically tailored to you. I'll see you then." I hung up and grabbed the door, kicking away the stick I used to prop it open and fluffing up my hair as I walked back over to the bar. As I came back to my spot, the bartender had just finished pouring Lenny another drink.

"Here," he sighed, sliding a glass of clear, carbonated liquid to me as he picked up his own glass. "Club soda." A small smile tugged at my lips as he brought his glass to his. I almost felt bad, turning him in. He was always nice to me. Well, nicer than he was to his other associates.

"Thanks," I mumbled, taking a small drink. Sure enough, it was clear of any toxins.

"So what exactly are you doing here, Andy?" he breathed tensely, his throat constricting from the alcohol burn.

"I'm looking for work," I shrugged honestly. "Haven't been able to find much on my own, was hoping you could help." Oh, he was helping, alright. More than he knew. "You've been a reliable source in the past."

"That was four years ago, times have changed since then. Superpowered freaks been running around while you've been gone," Lenny chuckled dryly. "They think this is their city."

"So let's show them it's not," I insisted, staring at him over the rim of my glass as he turned to look at me. Before he could respond, the glass behind the bar shattered in the wake of blue light, a quiet swear slipping past my lips as the alcohol poured onto the floor. He hadn't waited long at all, he was early. Lenny quickly stood and whipped out his piece as the patrons of the bar left one by one in a blur of blue light.

"C'mon, Flash," Lenny taunted as I slipped behind the bar. Barry's light practically paced before him for a few seconds before I felt hands around my waist and a strong force smushing my body into another one, looking up at Barry's masked face when it suddenly stopped.

"What were you thinking?!" he asked incredilously.

"That I was getting bored," I scoffed, feeling my heart beat fifty miles an hour and sweet adrenaline coursing through every inch of me. "This fixed it right up, though." Barry swore and looked away for a moment before turning back to me.

"Snart is dangerous," he scolded. "He could've--"

"He didn't," I sighed, taking hold of the sides of his face when he was still panicking. "Clear your head, I'm safe, I'm fine. Go in there and take care of him. Be careful." Looking in my eyes, he nodded, small strips of blue lightning coming up over his shoulders and giving me a bit of a shock before he was gone.

My muscles tingled for a long moment as the electricity spread through me, mixing with the natural drugs in my blood and creating a delicous concotion I was immediately addicted to. Taking a deep breath, I finally took in where he had dropped me, only a block at most from the bar.

I started heading back, pushing myself up against a building when white fire came from around a corner. It only lasted a few seconds, and after a short moment of letting it pass, I looked around the corner and found the side of the building completely frosted over, the ice spreading quickly.

I came off the building, not wanting to freeze up the way the wall had, and waited for a long moment, my heart dropping to my stomach when I heard the cold gun fire and Barry scream. Running around the opposite side of the building, I followed where the the sounds were coming from, my panic only fueling the feeling spreading through me. I slowed to a stop when I saw Barry on the ground, the ice on his knee and slowly spreading up his leg. "Not this time, Flash," Snart called though he was out of my view, the gun cocking as it sounded like it was powering up again. "You're just too slow."

Barry's eyes shot to me the same moment the gun fired, hands easily scooping me and that same force pressing against me. I looked up and found Barry's pained expression as he was running, the pressure soon faded and the world caught up to us, my feet connecting with the ground the same moment Barry fell off of his. "Barry?" I asked cautiously, dropping beside him. After a brief glance around, I saw we were back at his hideout.

"Ow," he wheezed, laying out and panting hard. When I looked down at his knee, the ice was melted but he was obviously still in pain.

"I told you to be careful!" I scolded, bringing my hand down hard on his chest. He coughed and his head rolled to the other side with a groan. "You gotta be smarter than that, Barry!"

"I know," he wheezed. "I will next time..."

"There almost wasn't a next time!" I pointed out, bringing my hand down again. Barry caught my wrist easily, only caring enough to stop me from hitting him again before dropping his hand to his side, his eyes slipping closed.

"I'll be more careful," he breathed, his chest finding a more steady rhythm. "I promise..."

"Good," I sighed, wrapping my hand tightly around his. I hadn't felt this scared or worried since Terra slit her wrist, and I never again wanted to feel that way over Barry.
