Chapter 15: Psychic Time

"Well, Saffron Gym. Gym leader is Sabrina. She uses Psychic Types," said Sentoki.

"I don't really think you guys have anything good against Psychic," said Hikaru with a shrug.

"Yeah. Rambo won't do much, Dratini won't either, Treecko doesn't do much damage, Berserk will do bad, Elekid won't stand a chance, and Eevee won't either."

"Machoke is bad against Psychic types, Bulbasaur can't battle, Seel won't do much, Growlithe is pretty fast so it could dodge attacks, Weedle is too weak, and so is Pidgey."

Sentoki and Kimyona were disappointed. Sentoki nor Kimyona had a Pokemon that would do good against Psychic. Hikaru and Pichu were trying to cheer them up when an old man ran up to the trio and knocked Sentoki onto the ground.

"Ow!" yelled Sentoki as he landed on his arm.

"Ah sorry little girl!"

"Oi! I'm not a girl!" Sentoki stood up and brushed the dirt off his pants.

"So I heard you little kids talking about how your Pokemon aren't good against Sabrina, eh?"

"Yes miste-"

"I'M TALKING LITTLE GIRL!"

"Sorry sir." Sentoki backed away.

"Lucky for you! I can help you kids! Follow me!"

The trio chased the old man to a house. Inside, he gave them some juice and asked them to sit down.

"Who are you sir?" asked Kimyona.

"I, my friend, am Mr. Psychic! I supply trainers in need with a special technical machine!"

Sentoki jumped from his seat. "Which one!"

"TM29: Psychic."

Sentoki fell into his seat with disappointment. "I thought it was something helpful."

"Ah, Psychic is helpful! Fight a Psychic pokemon with a Psychic attack! Now let me see your Pokemon so I can determine if they are capable of learning Psychic."

After 5 minutes, Mr. Psychic told them," It seems like this little girl-"

"I'm a guy."

"SHUT UP I'M TALKING! Only his Elekid could learn Psychic. Kimyona, none of your Pokemon could learn Psychic."

"Dammit," said a disappointed Kimyona.

"But, Elekid won't really stand a chance against Sabrina. You need more Pokemon," Mr, Psychic advised, "You, girl with the Pichu. What are your other Pokemon?"

"Besides Pichu, I have a Vulpix, Absol, Riolu, and Zorua," Hikaru said, "Why do you need to know my Pokemon? They aren't going to battle."

"Yes, but your Absol and Zorua can help your friends."

Sentoki and Kimyona turned and looked at Hikaru. Hikaru sat there exchanging looks from Sentoki and Kimyona. "Guys, I told you before and I'll tell you again; My Pokemon don't battle."

"PLEASEEEEE!!!!!!!"

Hikaru sat there staring and sighing at Sentoki and Kimyona. "Let me decide."

"Alright. I'm gonna go to the Pokemon Center real quick. I'll leave Elekid so he can learn Psychic. Be back soon."

Sentoki ran out of the house and into the Pokemon Center. He quickly called Lance to ask him a question. "Hey Lance!"

"Hi Sentoki! How's your journey been goin' along?"
