Chapter 49: Ten Years Later

"Mom!" he ran to the cell and put his hands on her. "Are you okay?"

"Yes," his mom shed a tear, "Finally, you came! I never thought I'd see you again!"

Sentoki ushered his mom to step back as Rambo blasted open the cell gate.

They immediately went into a full embrace. "I see your Squirtle has fully evolved into Blastoise."

"Rambo, meet my mother."

They let go off each other. "Where's Team Rocket?" asked Sentoki as he looked around again.

"Probably looking for you. As soon as code red was announced, the place went on lockdown. They all scrambled. Did you come alone?" explained his mom.

"No, I have friends. We came together after I stole a map from some Ultron Force kid."

"Ultron Force? They're here too. Those three kids... they really piss me off."

There was rapid footsteps coming from another hallway a few feet away. Sentoki, his mom, and Rambo quickly hid behind a wall and Sentoki peeked his head out to check.

"I know you're there."

"Oh geez Hikaru, you scared me," Sentoki emerged from behind the wall.

"We found something."

"Well I found someone." Sentoki's mom came from behind the wall. "Meet my mother."

"Oh hello. Um, it's nice to meet you! Are you okay?"

"Yes thank you, Sentoki found me in the cell over there," she said as she gestured to her left.

"Anyway, come with me."

The three of them followed Hikaru to a room where Kimyona was. In a glass container locked with a keypad, was a Master Ball.

2:51 PM.

"They must've been able to steal it back at Silph Co. a while back," said Sentoki as he put his hands on his lap to get closer to it.

"We can't let them keep this. Garchomp, take it." said Hikaru as she touched Kimyona's shoulder.

Garchomp punched the glass and removed the Master Ball, giving it to Kimyona. Immediately, the sirens began to blare. A giant iron gate quickly began to lower, trapping in the group.

"Garchomp! Quick!" Garchomp darted under the gate and caught it, holding it up so the group can escape. Right away, there were Rocket Grunts.

"Freeze! Hand over the Master Ball and we'll let you walk!"

Rambo wiped them out using Hydro Pump. "We need to get out here before backup arrives! They know we have the Master Ball and I don't think we wanna stick around when that happens," said Hikaru.

"Right. Let's get out of here!" they began to run towards where they came in. When they got to the stairs Sentoki stopped.

"Wait!"

Hikaru, Kimyona, and his mom turned around on the stairs.

"Where's Father?..." Sentoki suddenly remembered.

His mother walked back to Sentoki and tried to give him a hug. Sentoki backed off. Once again, he asked where his father is. Hikaru's hand immediately went to her face, expecting the worst.

"He.." his mom paused, " He.. when Team Rocket captured us that night, the night we were taken from you, we were put into a car with our hands tied together." Sentoki was listening intently. "Your father looked at me like a man on a mission. I knew what he had to do. It was around two in the morning when it happened. I shook my head, I knew he didn't have to do it. He looked at me, then out the window, at the driver, then back at me. He let out a breath through his nose and then he... he grabbed the door handle and jumped out of the car. I tried to grab him as he jumped but on the side of the road, was a cliff."
