Chapter 46: Final Rounds Part 1 - Sentoki vs Subarashi

Sentoki and Kimyona fought hard, defeating more and more trainers to get to the final rounds. Finally, there was only four left.

"Alright guys, you made it this far. It's gonna be a six-on-six battle so you gotta give it your all!" said Hikaru with excitement.

"Six-on-six? Piece of cake. We got this," remarked Sentoki with ease.

Kimyona took a sip of coffee, looked up, and said," If there's only two more battles left before the final, who are we gonna battle?"

The glass doors slid opened and in walked two tall men.

"Us," said Subarashi and Jinsoku as they walked in.

As they sat down with the group, the PA system turned on.

"Attention all trainers and spectators! There are only two more battles to determine who will battle in the final match! Whoever the victor is of these battles will face each other and whoever wins that will be the Pokemon champion!"

Smiles lit up on all their faces, eager to know who will be battling who.

"Both matches shall take place in the grand arena. The first battle shall be....," there was a short pause," Sentoki vs Subarashi!"

Both guys looked at each other with mad smiles as if they have something personal to settle.

Kimyona interrupted and said,"Then that would mean-"

The PA cut her off and said," Then the second match would be Kimyona vs Jinsoku!"

Kimyona was sitting motionless, staring at the PA system. Jinsoku immediately looked at Kimyona, looking at what he would have to deal with. Then, Subarashi and Jinsoku stood up and walked towards the door. Before the walked through the threshold, Subarashi stopped and turned his head over his shoulder and said," I guess I'll see you later on the field, kid. And by the way, don't take this defeat too personal." He clicked his tongue, pointed his finger back, then left. As soon as the pair exited, Sentoki turned towards the two girls and said," That guy is starting to piss me off. I shall end him," then left through the doors.

Nighttime. Sentoki has not showed up at the room yet. Hikaru gets up and wanders around the campus, in search of Sentoki. As she turns as corner, she sees a yellow glow behind a building. She creeped behind the corner and sees Electivire, charged up and ready. Sceptile ran at Electivire with Leaf Blade ready. When Sceptile slashed at Electivire, Electivire ducked Matrix-style and used DynamicPunch, sending Sceptile back. Electivire then used Shock Wave. The electricity moved into the shape of yellow hands, grabbing Sceptile. Controlling Shock Wave like his own hands, Electivire pulled Sceptile back and sent it onto the ground. Hikaru sneezed, notifying her presence. Electivire, Sceptile, and Sentoki looked at her.

"Sorry, I was worried where you were."

Sentoki called them back and went back to the hotel room with Hikaru.

Morning. Sentoki was nowhere to be seen in the room. Kimyona and Hikaru speculated he is too excited to for the match. They found him back on the field where he was last night.

"The Pokemon league was not part of me quest. I wanted to look for my father but since we got this far, why not. Plus, something might even happen after I win."

"ALL TRAINERS TO THE STADIUM!" announced the PA. After arriving to the stadium, there was a ten minute wait to get everyone situated and prepared. Then, Sentoki, Kimyona, Subarashi, and Jinsoku marched to the field with the crowd roaring and cheering for them. Once they got to the middle, the national anthem was sang. The jumbotron then began to show a tribute of all the trainers including the highlights of the Pokemon league to act as a build up for the final matches. After the video, each trainer was introduced and announced. The build up for the battle was tremendous. Everyone was shaking and screaming, waiting to see who would be the first one to be in the final battle. Kimyona and Jinsoku left the stadium and Sentoki and Subarashi took their marks.
