Chapter 30: Cinnabar Island Hotel

"Look! We're here!" Hikaru said, pointing at the island.

They gazed upon the sparkling beach as they got off Dragonair. Kimyona and Hikaru began to play in the water as Sentoki withdrew Dragonair.

"Come on. I got a surprise for you guys!" he said happily.

Upon hearing the word 'surprise,' they ran out of the water, splashing onto the soft sand. They walked through the streets in front of the beach and saw vendors selling items such as rare candies, evolution stones, power ups, and potions.

"Surprise."

KImyona and Hikaru's jaws dropped as they gazed at a glorious hotel that he led them to. The hotel's exterior was made of marble and the roof was made of brick shingles. It was like a castle.

"How's this for a vacation?"

"H-How did you get this hotel?!" aske Kimyona.

"Well at the Pokemon Trainer Fan Club, I saw a brochure for a free 3 night stay at this hotel. I decided to teach that geezer a lesson by stealing this. Hehe."

"Oh my god Sentoki," She started saying, beginning to scold him. He looked down and braced himself for a yelling.

"THANK YOU SO MUCH! THIS THING IS EPIC!" Hikaru squealed, hugging Pichu.

"Ha. You're welcome," He said relieved that Hikaru cut of Kimyona. "But seriously, what is with us and getting free stuff? Bikes? First battles of the day?"

They entered the hotel and walked around the main lobby. There was a huge glass chandelier with 20 lights on it. There was also a restaurant with a seafood buffet and the lounge had 10 comfortable sofas. The trio got complimentary ice tea as a welcome gift to the hotel. Sentoki checked in as Kimyona and Hikaru went over to the gift shop. After a few minutes, Sentoki received the room key. They followed him to the 3rd floor and their room had the perfect location: overlooking the beach.

There was a refrigerator, microwave, safe, 3 beds, a plasma TV, two bathrooms each with a TV in it, a sofa, and complimentary potions for their Pokemon.

"Five stars," said Sentoki, admiring the room.

They left their bags in the room and left the hotel. They walked around the island and rented segways so they can get around faster. After exploring the entire island in 4 hours, they went back to the hotel to change into swimming suits. They left again and went to the beach to swim. Hikaru, Kimyona, and the Pokemon ran to the water in excitement. Meanwhile, Berserk, Charizard, Arcanine, and Vulpix stayed with Sentoki on the sand since they had a weakness against water. Charizard joined Beedrill and Pidgeotto who were flying around, playing tag. Sentoki, in his black shirt and blue shorts, slipped his shades on and laid down, trying to take a nap. Suddenly, he was splashed and woke up instantly. He took his shades off and went to investigate. In the water, he saw a boy playing with his Poliwrath and Tentacruel.

He charged over there in anger and yelled," YOU! WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA?! SPLASHING PEOPLE FOR NO REASON! I WAS TRYING TO TAKE A NAP!"

"Well you should've moved over!"

"HOW?! I WAS TAKING A NAP!"

Upon hearing the yelling, Rambo and Icer swam over to Sentoki.

"LISTEN YOU IDIOT. I CAME HERE TO RELAX, NOT TO BATTLE SENSELESS KIDS WHO CAN'T RESPECT PEOPLE'S QUIET TIME!"

The kid commanded his Poliwrath to hit Sentoki with Hydro Pump. Rambo jumped in front of Sentoki and deflected it with Rapid Spin.

"Get out!" Sentoki warned.

Tentacruel tried to hit Rambo with a Poison Jab but Icer froze his tentacle. Rambo hit Tentacruel with Water Pulse and Icer finished with Quick Attack. Poliwrath hit Rambo with Dynamic Punch but Icer countered with Quick Attack. Rambo and Icer combined their attack to use Ice Spout and took out Poliwrath.

"I said get out."

The kid unleashed all his water Pokemon. Dinamika saw them and ran over there. He said a few words then Rambo ran back. Dinamika flipped under water and Icer used Barrier. Dinamika used a Thunder attack, only knocking out the kid's Pokemon. Ashamed, he withdrew them and ran off.

"How did that work?" asked Kimyona as they walked over to them.

"I think Icer used Barrier to conceal the Thunder attack so only the kid's Pokemon would be affected. After all, Icer won't really take much damage since it's an ice type."

"Yeah, but you didn't exactly have to kick him out," Hikaru said.

"Well, he was bothering me and I wanted him to stop."

"But still. You could have told him to stop. Battling isn't always the way to go," Kimyona noticed a flyer about a fireworks display happening and suggested they go. Sentoki and Hikaru agreed. She actually just wanted them to stop bickering because she know that it might take them awhile to stop. They went back to the hotel to take a shower and freshen up before they enjoyed the fireworks.

"Where to tomorrow?" Kimyona asked.

"Well we have 3 days. Sooo, I don't know," Sentoki shrugged.

"I heard that there's this really cool place called the Pokemon Mansion," said Hikaru excitedly.

"Pokemon Mansion?" Kimyona repeated.

"Yep. It's this burned down mansion that's filled with all sorts of treasures. It seems like so much fun," Hikaru explained.

"Seems kinda stupid. What good is a burned down building to us?" Sentoki retorted.

"For your information, if we find a certain little key in there then we can challenge the gym here. Seem stupid now?" Hikaru taunted. Sentoki began to reconsider. After a bit of thinking and encouraging from Kimyona, the group decided to go the Pokemon Mansion tomorrow. For now, they just want to enjoy the beautiful fireworks that started.
