Chapter 21: Vermillion Persuasion

"Chairman, you stay out here. We'll be back as soon as we can," Green told the Chairman as they left the Pokemon Fan Club.

Green, with the others, walked to the Vermillion Gym, prepared to interrogate Lt. Surge. They stood in front of the door and look at each other. "You guys ready?" asked Kimyona.

"I call dibs on water boarding him," Sentoki said. Hikaru hit him on the chest.

"Sentoki, this guy's got attitude so please, try not to crack," Hikaru pleaded.

"I'm not promising anything."

"Hello? Lt. Surge?" Green's voice echoed and she slowly opened the door.

The lights instantly turned on.

"Whaddaya want?" groaned Lt. Surge.

"We need information about Team Rocket and this organization called 'Ultron Force',"' said Sentoki.

"Listen up you kids, I ain't sayin' shit. So scram before I make you," Lt. Surge was tough as a brick.

"Fine," Sentoki said, already pissed off, "then I'll battle it outta ya."

"No little kid will interrogate me!" Lt. Surge said arrogantly as took out Raichu.

"I got this one," said Kimyona, stepping forward.

Ivysaur was sent out, trying to intimidate Raichu. Raichu tried to use Thunderbolt and Ivysaur countered with Razor Leaf. Raichu jumped into the air.

"Quick! Grab its tail!"

Ivysaur quickly used Vine Whip and pulled Raichu towards him. The grip was so tight, Raichu couldn't attack. 

"Now!"

Ivysaur threw Raichu into the air and used Solarbeam, smashing it straight into the wall.

"How?" asked Lt. Surge," That still won't do any good! Raichu can still fight!"

Kimyona groaned and punched her other hand. Just when she was about to throw out another Pokeball, her arm was caught with a gentle grip.

"That won't be necessary," said Sentoki. He stepped into the box as Kimyona withdrew Ivysaur and stepped back with Green and Hikaru.

Sentoki took out Dinamika and he quickly used Swift. Raichu, unexpecting the quick attack, was shot back into a wall.

"You're brave to fight me, kid. Who are ya?"

"Sentoki, Pallet Town."

Raichu used Thunderbolt but Dinamika was able to block with Barrier. Dinamika then used Quick Attack. At that moment, Raichu countered with Quick Attack as well. It was obvious Raichu was faster. Just when Dinamika was about to get hit, it quickly used Dynamic Punch, knocking Raichu to the wall and jamming its tail in it. Raichu tried to struggle out of it but Dinamika jumped and used Ice Punch, gluing Raichu's tail to the wall. Dinamika jumped down and tried to use Low Kick on Lt. Surge's leg. He jumped up and punched Dinamika away. Dinamika, on his knees, stared at the ground, dazed. Dinamika began to shake his head as electric sparks began to come from his ears. Suddenly, Dinamika began to evolve as his head was shaking. Sparks began to fly quicker. His shaking head turned into Electabuzz's voice. 

"He-he-" said the stunned Lt. Surge.

"Dinamika evolved!" cried Hikaru with joy.

Dinamika jumped at Lt. Surge. When Lt. Surge tried to punch Dinamika in the face, Dinamika used its tail and wrapped it around Lt. Surge's arm. He pulled him close and used Dynamic Punch. Lt. Surge flew away and smashed his back against the wall.

"AHHHHHH!!!!!!!" he groaned. Dinamika walked over to him and grabbed his shirt. He then readied a Dynamic Punch.

"Stop! No please! I give up! I'll tell ya whateva ya want!" yelled the injured Lt. Surge.

Dinamika dropped Lt. Surge and he hit his head on the metal wall.

"And you owe them badges too," said Green.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," said Lt. Surge.

Back at the Pokemon Fan Club, Lt. Surge was being questioned by Green. Sentoki, ignoring the conversation, began to polish his four badges. He put them back away and began to listen.

"What is this so-called Ultron Force?!"

"Well, ummmm...." said Lt. Surge.

"Answer the fucking question!" yelled Sentoki, who was definitely pissed off by his attitude.

"They weren't really around the time I was with Rocket," said Lt. Surge as he scratched the back of his head.

"What do you mean by 'really?'" asked Kimyona.

"They were a big secret around us. Well, more like just a project. Before it was an actual thing, well, I wouldn't call it rumors, but it was just words being passed around here and there. They hardly tell you anything over there."

"Do you know what this paper means?" asked Hikaru.

"I do!" yelled the Chairman.

They turned around and looked at him as he read the paper, ready for whatever nonsense was going to come out of his mouth.

"Well?" asked Green.

"It says ZAPDOS CAPTURE: FAILURE."

The sound of hands smacking faces filled the room.

"Well I'll be damned," Lt. Surge's eyes widened upon reading the headline, "Zapdos, eh? Shit, they did give up after Mew since they had no luck with him. So now its the birds? I'll be damned."

"That's right!" said Hikaru.

"And since Cerulean Cave is blocked off, they can't get to Mewtwo. And either way, who knows where Mewtwo is," said Sentoki.

"How do you know?" asked Kimyona.

"When I was outside, I was piecing the puzzles together."

"And since they failed at capturing Zapdos, they're now after the other two birds!" yelled Lt. Surge.

"Articuno and Moltres. Anyone know where we can find them?" Sentoki turned to the rest of the gang.

"Articuno is in the Seafoam Islands," said Green.

"Then that's where we're going next," said Hikaru.

Lt. Surge was released and he went back to the gym. "If you ever open your mouth about what happened today, be sure that my Electabuzz will come back for you," Sentoki looked at Lt. Surge dead in the eyes. The gym leader nodded and ran off.

"Well guys" said Green," I'll go to Mt. Silver and check on Moltres. I'll alert Blue and Yellow."

"What about Red?" asked Hikaru.

"He's been, we say, 'missing in action,'" said Green.

"So we'll just keep in touch," said Sentoki.

"Right. See ya later guys!" Green ran off through the door.

"I'm sure they're reporting to their boss so we should have enough time for the gyms," said Kimyona.

"We will if we can hurry."

"Bye, Chairman!" yelled Hikaru as they left.

"Bye bye!" he yelled, "Wait, who were those children again?"
