Chapter 33: Going Home

"Come on! We're gonna be late! The boat leaves in 10 minutes!" exclaimed Hikaru as they ran through the crowded boardwalk.

"Why is the boardwalk so packed?! It's only 10 in the morning!" Sentoki complained. They finally made it to the ticket booth and boarded just in the nick of time.

"Ah, finally. We're going home," he said as he felt Mew's presence with him. They relaxed on the 30 minute boat ride from Cinnabar Island to Pallet Town. They got out the boat and Sentoki made a mad dash for Pallet Town.

"Sentoki! Wait!" Kimyona shouted from behind him.

He kept running and made it all the way back to Pallet Town. He no longer cared about Hikaru and Kimyona. He let them catch up as he made his way to the Daycare Center.

He ran through the front door and started yelling. "Lance! Lance! I'm home! Lance, I'm home!"

He ran through the back door that led to the field where the Pokemon roam. There, he saw Bulldoze, the Tauros that treats him better than all the other Pokemon in the Daycare Center. He ran towards it and put his hand near Bulldoze's nose.

"You probably don't remember, but it's Sentoki," he said as Bulldoze sniffed him. Bulldoze stopped sniffing, smiled, and tackled Sentoki.

"You remember!" yelled Sentoki with joy. "You know what, Bulldoze? I want you to meet my Pokemon!"

Rambo, Dragonair, Tabak, Berserk, Dinamika, and Icer came out and instantly befriended Bulldoze. They ran around the field and chased each other. Dragonair cooled off at the lake and Tabak took a nap under a shady tree. Dinamika went over to the Jolteons and showed off his electric power. Rambo and Bulldoze were already best friends since they were both with Sentoki for a very long time. Berserk went to the Flareons and they taught Berserk a traditional game they came up with while Sentoki was gone. Icer came from behind with Kimyona and Hikaru.

"Oh hey. You caught up," Sentoki said.

"Wow, nice place," said Hikaru as she looked around.

"Come on. Your Pokemon have been battling for a long time! Let them play around!" encouraged the excited Sentoki.

Charizard, Venusaur, Riolu, Vulpix, Absol, Pichu, Zorua, Dewgong, Beedrill, Pidgeotto, Machoke, and Arcanine came out. Dewgong went to join the other Pokemon over at the lake. Pidgeotto joined a pack of Pidgeotto, Charizard took a nap also, Venusaur hung out with the Grass Pokemon, Machoke showed off his muscles, and Beedrill went over to the bug type Pokemon. The rest of Hikaru's Pokemon stayed around their master.

"Something wrong with your Pokemon?" asked Sentoki.

"They seem a bit shy. Maybe it's because they're not from around here?" Kimyona suggested.

"Possibly. Guys, go ahead. We're in a big group," Hikaru encouraged. They looked at each other and started to socialize with the other Pokemon.

The girls ran off ahead as Sentoki ran around, trying to find Lance and the other workers. He rode Bulldoze with Rambo on the side of them.

"Lance!" yelled Sentoki.

Suddenly, a Dragonite snuck up on Sentoki and tried to attack him. Rambo blocked the attack with Protect, then he followed up with Ice Beam. Bulldoze, with Sentoki still on his back, used Take Down and defeated the Dragonite.

"What the hell was that about?" Sentoki asked Rambo. He shrugged in return.

"Who's there?!" A voice said from afar.

"I'm......Sentoki," said Sentoki cautiously.

"S-Sentoki?" Lance came out of the back door and walked over to Dragonite.

"How did you defeat my Dragonite?"

"Hah. I just got back man. You could've at least gave me a hug."

"Nah, you know me. I'm joking. Come here, kiddo." They hugged as Dragonite stood up. It looked nearly unharmed, except for the Ice Beam attack.

"How long has it been, Lance?"

"It's been almost a year since you left."

"A year? It seemed like two months!"

Hikaru and Kimyona heard them and approached from the side.

"Oh, Lance. This is Hikaru and Kimyona," Sentoki introduced with friends.

"Hi there," Lance nodded.

"Hi," Kimyona smiled.

"Hey," Hikaru said, 'Why does he look familiar?' She asked herself.

"Where you guys from?" Lance asked, finding some conversation.

"I'm from here also!" answered Kimyona.

"And you, Hikaru?"

"In another region," Hikaru answered nonchalantly while petting Pichu on the head.

They diverted their attention to the Pokemon. They were roaming around, socializing with everyone else.

"So you got all your badges?" Lance asked.

"Not quite," said Kimyona as she and Sentoki opened their badge cases.

"Oh. So you just need Viridian, eh? Good luck against Blue."

"Yup. He was in the Pokemon League," Sentoki said.

"If he made it that far into the league, he's gonna be pretty hard to beat, especially with his Blastoise," Lance commented.

Rambo came to Lance and smiled "Oh, hey! You're so big now!"

"Oh Lance! I wanna show you the others! Guys! Come on over!" Sentoki guided him to the trio's group of Pokemon. All the Pokemon came over as Sentoki introduced Tabak, Dragonair, Berserk, Dinamika, and Icer.

"My, my. You've all gotten big and strong! And a Glaceon! This could be the only one in Kanto! Where did Eevee evolve?"

"Seafoam Islands. He fell into a hole. There must've been an Ice Rock in there."

Sentoki told Lance their nicknames and Hikaru and Kimyona introduced their Pokemon.

"We're stopping here for a break. We're gonna go to Viridian Gym in 2 days. Tomorrow I'm just going to rest," Sentoki told Lance his plans.

"Us too," Kimyona added.

The Pokemon left and played some more, up until sunset. They had a good dinner at a fancy restaurant to celebrate Sentoki's return and to celebrate their accomplishments. Sentoki slept in his own room in the Daycare Center while Hikaru and Kimyona got free rooms at a fancy hotel. Only, it wasn't as fancy as the one in Cinnabar Island. As for tomorrow, it's lazy day!
