Chapter 41: Indigo Plateau

"Indigo Plateau," read the large archway.

Sentoki fell to his knees and began to pray.

There were Pokemon trainers everywhere. Pokemon were running around the place, having fun and chasing each other. Hikaru and Kimyona looked around. People were training, shopping, talking, and eating. Sentoki stood up and walked over to some place.

"Where ya going?" asked Hikaru.

"To register. Aren't ya coming with?" he asked as he continued to walk. Hikaru and Kimyona chased him into a large, glass building with a glass dome in the shape of a pokeball.

He walked to the registration desk and the registrar said," Hello! Welcome to Indigo Plateau! Would you like to register for the Pokemon League?"

He nodded as he placed his six Pokeballs onto the counter and his Pokedex. The registrar placed the Pokeballs into six slots and they were scanned to account for the Pokemon he would be using. While it was scanning, he took Sentoki's Pokedex and inserted it into a machine. On a screen on the wall, Sentoki's picture showed up along with some basic information. To the side of his picture, showed Rambo, Dragonair, Dinamika, Berserk, Tabak, and Icer. Sentoki's Pokedex came out of the machine as it was given back to him along with his Pokedex.

"Thank you and good luck!" Sentoki smiled and thanked him back, stepping away so Kimyona could register. Again, her picture and information showed up along with Venusaur, Machamp, Dewgong, Beedrill, Pidgeot, and Arcanine. Kimyona stepped away and the group went outside.

"Well, I'm hungry. Shall we go grab a snack?" asked Hikaru. They agreed and they went to go find a restaurant to eat. Once they started eating, another Pokemon trainer walked to them and introduced himself.

"Hey there! I'm Subarashi! Welcome to the Pokemon League!" he smiled with delight.

Hikaru and Kimyona smiled back as Sentoki inspected him. Subarashi has been to the league before. His self esteem is unusual. It's confident. Subarashi also relied on speed rather than power on his Pokemon. Sentoki was thinking of a plan if he ended up facing him.

"Hey I'm-" Sentoki started.

"Yeah. I know who you are. You're Sentoki. I saw you registering along with Kimyona," Subarashi interrupted.

"I'm Hikaru," she introduced herself with a smile.

"I wanted to make friends with you guys 'cause you seem pretty cool. Got any goals while you're here?" he asked.

"Well I just wanna win the league," Sentoki said simply.

"Same with me," said Kimyona.

Hikaru sat there silent. Subarashi didn't bother saying anything to her.

"I got a friend coming soon," said Subarashi. The trio finished eating then they left with Subarashi to walk around.

"There he is!" exclaimed Subarashi as he ran towards him. "This is Jinsoku."

They all introduced themselves then walked around and watched some performers. It was already sunset.

"Well, it's been a long day. We took forever in Victory Road and we're really tired. I guess we'll see you tomorrow?" said Hikaru.

"Ok. See you then!" waved Subarashi as they want somewhere else. Sentoki, Hikaru, and Kimyona walked to their hotel. As soon as they entered Hikaru saw a gray figure through the corner of her eye. She turned to see what it was. Sentoki and Kimyona saw her stop. They looked the same way and saw the figure. They saw a gold "U" on its chest. Then, they saw it look back at them; it was Yuki.
