Chapter 55: Tomorrow

Twenty Years Later.

Hikaru was lying flat on her back with her eyes closed outside of a forest.

"Pichu, pi!" Pichu was shaking Hikaru, trying to wake her up.

Hikaru's eyes slowly opened and she wiped her face. "Where am I?" she said drowsily. She sat up and wiped her eyes and looked around. "A forest? Wait. I remember something." Hikaru quickly got to her feet. She looked down at Pichu, "Where were we going?" Pichu pointed to the direction of Professor Aspen's lab. "That's right." The two walked towards the direction they need to go with Hikaru suddenly stopped in her tracks.

All of a sudden, all the memories she just went through ever since she was sent to the past by Celebi until she went back to her present day flashed through her eyes.

"My friends! I have to go see my friends!" Hikaru reached her arm down and Pichu climbed up onto her shoulder. "Sorry, Professor Aspen, but I have to go do something." Hikaru took off running back to the ferry. Hikaru was becoming impatient as she waited for the S.S. Anne to arrive. Her excitement made her the first one to board the boat. As soon as they docked in Johto, Hikaru immediately took off to Goldenrod City to take the Magnet Train to Kanto. Hikaru took the train to get to Saffron City.

"Saffron City. This is where Sentoki nicknamed his Elekid."

Hikaru took off running to Pallet Town, not taking a break except for water. Eventually, Hikaru grew tired and needed to rest. There was no buildings for miles where she was and she was fatigued. In the distance, she saw a large, modern-looking building. The building took up a large amount of property. On the other side of the path was a large park and a lake with a fountain. The building was quite large. Hikaru took a walk around the building before entering. There was five Pokemon battlefields in the back with one large field in the form of a stadium. Hikaru walked to the front door and there was a sign above the door that read: THE POKEMON ACADEMY FOR ASPIRING TRAINERS."

Hikaru slowly opened the door and the air conditioner immediately cooled her off. A woman at the front desk greeted her.

"Hello, ma'am. Is there anything I can help you with?" the woman asked.

"I was wondering if you've any of these people somewhere," Hikaru reached into her bag and pulled out a picture of her, Kimyona, and Sentoki. The woman's eyes sharpened. She looked up at Hikaru, back at the picture, then at Hikaru once more. She smiled.

'It's Hikaru,' the woman thought. "Why yes I have, they just so happen to be on their way here," she smiled, secretly knowing who Hikaru was.

Hikaru's eyes widened. "I'm going to see my friends!" She went to the bathroom to wash her face and took a drink of water. She came out of the bathroom and the receptionist offered to take her on a tour of the school.

"You're lucky you came early, classes start in a little bit."

They walked through the lobby of the school and past a few trophy cases. "Look at all these awards. The kids who learn at this school must be very bright," Hikaru nodded in approvement as she looked through all the trophies. They made their way through the school and entered the main classroom towards the back of the building. The receptionist stood by the door as Hikaru carefully examined the room. There were two rows of desks with five desks in each row. A large blackboard was at the center of the classroom behind the teacher's desk. There was a door on the side of the room which led to a courtyard outside. "Very neat. This academy seems very prestigious." They walked past the teacher's desk and on the desk in a frame was the same picture Hikaru had. "No way," Hikaru's mouth slightly opened. On the wall perpendicular to the desk, was a large plaque. Hikaru walked up to it and squinted.
