Chapter 34: Lazy Day

"Ah. Finally, a day to rest," said Sentoki as he ate breakfast.

Lance came back with Hikaru and Kimyona, who were wide awake.

"What's with you guys? Still wide awake?" He teased.

"Yeah. Of course we are. Our bodies aren't used to relaxing anymore," Kimyona retorted.

"Hah. Of course. Come on, let's eat!" Lance invited Hikaru and Kimyona to eat with them.

Hikaru and Kimyona let their Pokemon out before they sat down and ate bacon.

"Ah. Still the best bacon!" cheered Sentoki.

They finished eating and went outside. All the Pokemon were there, running around and enjoying their freedom from battling. Sentoki spotted Machoke across the field, practicing its hand-to-hand combat against a small tree. Sentoki looked around to make sure nobody was watching and he walked over to Machoke.

"So I see you're training here?" asked Sentoki as he kicked the tree.

Machoke watched as Sentoki was kicking the tree and doing some blocking against the branches. Machoke walked over to another tree that wasn't that far and started to mimic Sentoki's actions.

"So you wanna train with me?" asked Sentoki as he smiled at Machoke. He walked over to a shed and pulled out a training tool called a wooden man. Sentoki showed Machoke how to block and how to attack when it comes to regular fighting. Once Sentoki taught Machoke the important things, he left and walked back over to the rest of the gang.

"See how happy they are? It's been awhile since we actually took a break," Kimyona smiled.

"You're right. Come on Kimyona!" yelled Hikaru. They ran off and played with the other Pokemon.

"Hmm....you know what? Hikaru! Kimyona! Let's go visit Professor Oak!" Sentoki suggested.

They withdrew their Pokemon and left the Daycare.

"Professor?" asked Sentoki as he opened the door gently.

"Huh?" Professor Oak said a little startled.

"Hi Professor Oak!" Hikaru said.

"Oh hey! It's you three!"

"Yup. Always has been!" said Kimyona.

"How have things been going along?"

"Well most of our Pokemon are almost fully evolved. Look!"

All the Pokemon were taken out as Professor Oak gazed at how big they've grown.

"Amazing! And Sentoki, you have a Glaceon....in Kanto!"

"Yup. He evolved over at Seafoam Islands," Sentoki said proudly.

"We also met Zapdos and Articuno, technically," Hikaru added.

"What do you mean?"

"They got angered and wherever they were hiding, they destroyed it," Kimyona explained.

"So that means the Power Plant and Seafoam Islands are destroyed?!"

"Well, yes."

"How did that happen?!" exclaimed the Professor as he fell onto a chair.

"Zapdos's rage made the Power Plant crumble down....." Kimyona started.

".....and Articuno's rage made BOTH of the Seafoam Islands sink," Sentoki finished.

"No! That can't be! If Moltres come out, then-" he was cut off by a loud noise.

They all ran outside and saw a fire bird fly-by.

"Hey! That was Moltres!" Hikaru yelled.

"Wait. Didn't Green say that she was gonna go check out Mt. Silver?" Kimyona asked.

"Yes, she did! And if Moltres passed us, they got rid of Ultron Force..." Sentoki started.

"And the mission was a success!" Hikaru finished happily.

"Ultron what?" asked the confused professor.

"Oh. I guess we never told you what Ultron Force is, did we?"

"I don't recall!"

The trio told Professor Oak what Ultron Force is and how they're working with Team Rocket.

"I see. So they're failing at completing their missions?"

"Yes, as long as someone is there to stop them!" Sentoki said valiantly.

"Wow, that's quite impressive! Where are you going next?"

"Well today we're taking a break today and tomorrow we're going to Viridian to challenge your grandson!" Kimyona announced.

"Oh, my grandson? He is pretty strong. Want me to give you a tip on defeating him?"

"Umm...okay?"

"No. We don't need a tip. We'll learn it on our own," Sentoki decided for them.

"Alright."

"We gotta get going back to the Daycare. See ya later Professor!" Hikaru said already running toward the Daycare with Pichu hanging on to her head. Sentoki and Kimyona booked it, trying to catch up to her. They went back to the Daycare and spent the rest of the day resting and relaxing. When they get to Viridian City, it won't be that much of a warm welcome.
