The wind roared in the trees, and feather-light water drops dribbled down on the people occupying the park, as they all summed around trying to mind their own business, but somewhere along the line forgetting privacy and strangers, as they sneaked a glance at the stranger's phones', or heard a sliver of a passerby's conversation on the phone.

Two teens were also occupying the park, accompanied by a dog. A golden retriever puppy to be exact. 5 months old this October, and happier than ever. At least happier than one of the teens.

It might have been the newly browning leaves on the trees, or just the overall mood in the park, but everything seemed to slow down. It was a perfect location.

"Can we sit down?"

Kiana looked over at Jeongguk and nodded, as they started searching for a bench to sit down on. After spotting one, Kiana skipped over to it, along with her puppy. It was true how pets were like their owners, Jeongguk reckoned.

"What was it that you wanted to talk about?" Kiana asked the other, as he sat down next to her, crossing his arms in a defensive manner, to shelter himself from both the cold, and eventual unexpected events.

"It's very stupid–"

"That doesn't matter. It clearly bothers you. And if it bothers you, it's way better to come out with it, than keeping it locked inside." Kiana was right.

"It's just about Taehyung."

Kiana's eyes lit up. Her relaxed expression quickly turned into that of a girl seeking vengeance.

"When and where do I have to beat him up–"

"Woah, woah. He didn't do anything wrong. It's more something with me... And him. But everything is just so difficult," Jeongguk sighed, and tucked his hands under his armpits to warm them. "You know that he's loaded. He even brought me along to Jamaica this summer, right?"

Kiana looked at him reassuringly. "Go on?"

"I'm just confused. He's amazing– too amazing even. I just don't feel like I deserve him. You know, everything he does for me. People are already looking at me like a gold-digger for hanging out with him, and I'm already starting to feel like one. I just don't know if he likes me that way, or if it's meant to be."

"Jeongguk, listen to yourself. You don't even sound reasonable right now. Taehyung has been overly protective of you ever since you were little. I once remember him almost throwing a tantrum about other kids being invited to your birthday party, because he didn't feel like they deserved any of you on your birthday."

Jeongguk sulked, and shrugged. Kiana did have a point, and that was the worst part. She almost always had a point.

"I'm sure Taehyung is used to dealing with gold-diggers on the daily. You surely wouldn't be part of his life still if you were in it for the money."

"I know but... I'm not sure if he really wants to be with me... I mean–"

"What?"

Jeongguk flustered redly.

"Wait what is it Jeongguk?"

"Well... We haven't exactly gone all the way. How can I know that he wont just dump me the second we go there?"

Kiana immediately bust out laughing.

"Q-quit laughing! It's not funny, this is a real issue of mine..." Jeongguk sulked even more.

"Whoo, I don't even know why it's so funny... I can't believe you worry about that." She choked on a laugh. "Oh my god, Jeongguk. I didn't need to know that. Wait– have you not done it yet... really? I mean you two totally give of the vibe of 'we fu–"

Jeongguk squeaked loudly, as he threw his hat at Kiana.

"Oh my lord, it really is you Taehyung. How coincidental is it that you also go to this high school. This is amazing!"

Taehyung uttered a huff, that probably came off more as a chuckle, as the other boy swung his arm over Taehyung's shoulder.

"It will be just like old days back at the boarding school. You and me against the world."

"I– well... I already have quite a lot of friends here."

"Oh really? Why don't you introduce me?" Taehyung let out a breath that he was holding. This boy knew every way to piss Taehyung off slightly. "I'm sure they're great people. Well off, just like you."

"I really have to get to class now, Christopher."

"I thought we were way past the names, Tae? It's just Chris to you. C-h-r-i-s." Taehyung smiled at Christopher with clenched teeth, trying to restrain himself from running the hell away from the situation.

"Yep, that's nice and all Chris, but I really need to go now."

"Alright. I'll join you at lunch though." It wasn't a question, Taehyung sensed, and he began dreading lunch more than he had the time the lunch ladies decided on an all-onion menu.

As he bolted down the hall to his class, even showing up ten minutes early, he could only think about how Chris was going to ruin it all. But this was before he even considered what would happen if Chris found out about Jeongguk.

Oh no.

Taehyung could never allow for Chris to find out. It would result in hell from both ends. With Jeongguk being as stubborn as he is, he would try to go up against Chris. But the older boy was good at being liked, and he would be able to turn everybody against Jeongguk in a matter of seconds. Just like how he did to Willam in the past.

Chris could not find out about Jeongguk. That was final.

Suddenly the door to the classroom opened, and a couple of students entered. They shuffled together, as they discussed something on one of the phones, and Taehyung could hardly make out any of them. But he could recognize them. Especially one of them.

Chloe Jones, a girl he shared a few classes with. He never really got to know her, although he knew she was part of the squad of people he hung out with. She was very clever and nice, that's what he got from the few times they had talked.

Suddenly an idea struck him.

Hello darlings!

Yes, as it turns out, the Chris from last chapter was actually the Chris from Taehyung's past at the boarding school )): Not very good.

LUFTA: I'm going to high school in two days. Or in one day, seeing as it's 1AM right now, and I'm pretty damn nervous. First of all, I have to bike all the way to my school (which is 10 km), and second, I have to meet so many new people. I can only imagine the amount of times I can mess up ahahaha.

This chapter was shorter than my other chapters, and it's also horribly late that I post it. I've recently been hit by a horrible writer's block and art block, and I'm never really in the mood for anything other than sleeping and reading hahah. I hope it will pass soon.
