Courtney's POV:

Its been a few weeks since my birthday now and guess what? I'm still living with Harry. Thats the last thing I want right now.

Luckily today I do have a few houses that I have seen that are up for sale. I'm going to check them out later with Donna and Bri.

I'm no good at buying a house and both of these have their own, so they must know what to look for. No way was I bringing Harry along because he would probably try and talk me out of every house I look at.

"You ready to check out some apartments?" Bri chirped up a little to energetically.

We were both sat in the living room, waiting on Donna's arrival so that we could go house hunting.

"A bit. It's just I know that I won't find one I like that will be in my price range." I sigh, slouching my shoulders down.

"You never know." Bri said, in a hopeful tone.

Just as I was about to make another negative comment the door bell rang, meaning that Donna was here and it was time to go house hunting.

"Time to go." Bri announced a little over excited.

"Woo!" I sarcastically muttered back in response.

I am now beginning to wonder if I will regret taking Bri with me. Especially if she's going to be all preppy and positive about every single house we're going to look at.

Arriving back at Harry's house, I throw myself down onto the sofa and let out a big sigh.

After a while day of house hunting, I am tries and annoyed. All I want to do is go to bed, but all Harry wants to do is ask question after question. Right now I am not in the mood.

"So, how did house hunting go?" Harry quizzed, as he sat himself down on the sofa next to me.

"Poorly." I bluntly replied.

"Not a single house you liked then?"

"Nope." My voice was monotone.

"None at all?" He pressed on, trying to continue a conversation that was clearly dead.

"Not really. They were all horrible and they didn't seem to be in nice neighbourhoods." I decided to elaborate for Harry.

"Oh." He frowned. "You'll find one soon though."

"I know. It's not easy finding a house." I grumbled.

He chuckled beside me. "You're telling me. It took me forever to find this house."

"Great." I huffed, knowing that I will never find a house now.

Neither of us spoke for a few minutes, and I could slowly feel myself drifting off to sleep. Just as my eyes were fully shut, my phone vibrated in my pocket.

I sighed and pulled it out. I had a new text from Louis.

Louis and I have been in good terms since I showed him that tree house and we spent the night up that just talking and getting to know each other better. I like where we are again now. We've been on a few more dates and are now a lot closer than before. We have overcome that argument a little while back.

Louis: How was the house hunting today? xx

Courtney: Not so good. Didn't find a single house that I liked. :'( xx
