Sabrina's P.O.V
Second week of school, and as the days go by, everything just keeps getting worse. Aish.
And of course, let's not forget our current subject—Mathematics.
I glanced at Kim and Abby. They were reciting answers left and right. What did I expect? They love studying, and I don't.
"So class, do you have questions about how to solve or perform power and exact roots?"
"Nothing, ma'am!" they said in unison.
"Naintindihan?"
"Yes, ma'am..."
As for me? I didn't even bother answering because, well... I didn't understand anything! That subject is way too complicated for me. Tss.
"Kung ganon, we'll be having a quiz. Get one whole sheet of paper and solve the following problems I'll write on the board," Ma'am said, starting to write on the blackboard.
Shit! I'm not going to be able to answer any of this. Urrrgh! I really hate studying! Whatever, I'll just wing it.
After a few minutes of answering and paper checking, I wasn't expecting much from my score.
"Okay, pass your papers forward..."
'Ui, pass daw, bilis...'
'Putek, bilisan mo nga, ang bagal.'
'Ilan nakuha ko?'
'Hala, baka bumagsak ako.'
I just hissed. "Bumagsak kayo? Eh paano naman ako? Mga siraulo."
Ma'am collected all our papers and looked like she was about to announce the scores. Seriously, it's like a slap in the face.
"I will announce your scores." Told you, right? Ugh.
"Marian 16... Philip 12... Kyla 14... Kimberly 18... Abigail 16..."
"...And wow! Keith 20, perfect score!"
Everyone clapped, and I turned to look at the transferee. Do I really need to be surprised?
"...Danica 12... Sandy 16... Hans 12... and... Sabrina." Ma'am sighed, probably because she expected the same old score from me. "Zero nanaman... wala ka bang naiintindihan sa mga tinuturo ko? Lagi ka nalang ganyan."
"Kailan ba tumaas score niyan, Ma'am?" I heard Mark say, laughing.
I shot him a glare. Pakyu ka I mouthed, but he just shrugged it off.
Sighing, I muttered, "Bahala nga kayo diyan," and started drawing in my notebook again.
---
"Sabrina, anong masasabi mo sa score mo kanina? Grabe achievement! I salute you! Hahaha," Abby teased me. I swear, I could just slap her!"Lagi ka nalang na zero, Sab~," Kim said, sounding concerned. I wish I could be like her...
I just shrugged. "Di pa ba kayo sanay sakin?" I muttered.
"Psst!" Abby nudged me, making me turn my head towards her.
Kumunot ang noo ko. "Ano?" I asked.
"Ang sama ng tingin sa'yo ni Katrina. Look, she's with her minions," Abby whispered, pointing in Katrina's direction.
I looked towards where she was pointing. She's right. Katrina was glaring at us, or should I say, at me.
Anyway, she's Katrina Sanchez, daughter of Korina Sanchez. Just kidding. Haha. She's my biggest enemy since first year. And the reason? Well, let me tell you.
