Loki X Reader: The New Recruit (One-Shot!)  

Loki tossed his tied up and gagged brother into the closet, he smirked and closed the doors before stepping in front of the mirror; within moments, he shifted into his brother, he walked out of his brother's room and locked the door behind him before tossing the key into a nearby vent. He walked down the hallway but Tony Stark just so happened to bump into him, Loki held his breath and looked up at him. 

"What are you doing here? You're supposed to be training the new recruit" Tony said sternly.

"New recruit?" Loki asked, disguised as his brother. 

"The one from your planet? Or some other realm close to yours..." Tony mumbled, "She's waiting for you, and from what I saw she'll probably kick your ass, breaking point..." Tony uttered, chuckling as he walked away. 

Loki grinned and walked toward down the hallway but was suddenly pulled into another room from behind; he turned around to see a young woman staring at him in curiosity. 

"I expected you to be much bigger, and more good looking" You said, you summoned your sword before taking a few steps back, "Well, come on then... Apparently if I defeat you, I can join this team" You smirked, "You seem easy enough to defeat" You uttered. 

"So, you're the new recruit? Where are you from exactly?" Loki asked, summoning two daggers. 

"I'm from Asgard, are you too afraid of me to use your hammer?" You asked. 

Loki looked down at his daggers and smiled innocently, "She is being repaired" He said.

"Repaired?" You asked. 

"Yes" Loki said, he charged at you, but you easily dodged him and pushed him into the nearby wall. 

"Anymore questions before I beat you to a pulp?" You asked. 

Loki groaned and turned around, he moved his hair out of his face before tossing one of his daggers at you. 

You caught it before tossing it back, hitting the wall, inches away from his ear, "I've never seen The Mighty Thor use daggers? Perhaps would you like to use a sword?" You asked. 

"I don't need a damn sword!" Loki said, letting out a slight growl; he charged at you again, but you easily grabbed him and tossed him into the wall, once again. 

"I was expecting more of a challenge" You laughed, you tossed your sword to him, "I will use nothing but my fists" You said, before bowing. 

Loki tossed his dagger aside and gripped the sword tightly, he charged at you. 

You smiled and just stood there, Loki's sword was about to reach your neck when you ducked down and grabbed his sword from him, you placed the blade to his neck, "This seems far too easy, you're not even trying". 

"Join my army" He grinned. 

"Pardon me?" You asked. 

"Join my army" He repeated. 

"Asgard doesn't have a very good army, the guards are just lazy considering I broke out of prison" You uttered. 

"Why were you in prison?" Loki asked, looking at you in shock. 

"I tried to kill your father" You grinned, lowering your sword. 

"He's not my father!" Loki shouted, but quickly held his tongue when you turned to look at him.

"I was expecting Thor's brother to be a better fighter" You said, handing him your sword, you saw how horrified he looked, "So, what's your interest in me anyways?" You whispered to him. 

"My interest?" Loki choked, he was utterly taken by your beauty, but never did he think someone could see through his disguise. 

"Why did you disguise yourself as your brother?" You asked. 

"I wanted to uh... See if you were truly an amazing warrior like I've heard" Loki uttered. 

"I'm certainly not known as an amazing warrior, while trying to murder your father, I killed several guards and even more innocent people, so I'm not quite sure what you've heard" You uttered. 

"Why would The Avengers want to recruit you, if you're nothing but a murderer?" Loki asked. 

"Your brother thought I deserved another chance" You said, you were about to walk away when Loki grabbed your arm, "What?" You asked. 

Loki released your arm, "You're a strong fighter, I think you would be good on the team, but don't get in anyone's way" He said sternly, watching you walk out of the room. 

You walked toward your room, you closed the door behind you but when you turned around you saw Loki standing before you, in his true form, "Following me now, are you?" You asked. 

"I've never seen you in Asgard" Loki said. 

"But I made you believe me, you're easier to fool than your brother" You laughed. 

"Then where are you from? Truly?" He asked. 

"I came from the same place you did, but I escaped to Asgard, where your father imprisoned me, I then escaped, tried to murder him... Eventually he banished me" You uttered. 

"Lying, again are we?" Loki frowned. 

"I'm not lying this time... Your father murdered my mother and my father" You uttered, "Now, this army you're speaking of?" You asked. 

Loki stepped toward you, "You look like no Frost Giant" He said, staring at you closely. 

"Neither do you" You said, gently pushing him backward. 

Loki grabbed you and pinned you against the wall, "Try again" He threatened. 

"Clearly my fighting didn't bring you here, so shall we exchange questions and answers?" You asked. 

Loki loosened his grip on you, "Where are you from? And no lying" He said sternly. 

"I am from Jotunheim and your father did murder my parents, that is no lie... Now why did you come here?" You asked, staring deeply into his emerald green eyes. 

Loki remained silent and looked down at the floor then looked up at you. 

"Well?" You asked. 

Loki hesitated to answer, why was he so intrigued by you? Was he falling in love? He had just met you and he wanted to recruit you, he wanted you to be his partner and rule the world alongside with him. 

You stared at Loki awaiting for him to answer, Loki grabbed you and pulled you into a deep kiss, he pulled back and looked at you for your response; you shoved Loki away and grabbed him before pinning him against the wall, you then kissed him deeply, "Is that your answer then?" You asked. "Join me" Loki whispered, "Well, I will need a little more persuading than that", you grabbed Loki into another kiss, "Perhaps some more persuading can me arranged" He grinned.
