Loki took a deep breath and knocked on the door of his brother's apartment, he straightened his tie before looking up to see his brother Thor open the door and grin happily at him. Thor gave him a loving hug before welcoming inside, he took his brothers umbrella and placed it aside before taking his jacket to hang it up; Loki suspiciously looked around before following his brother into the kitchen.

"Would you like some water? A cup of tea?" Thor asked.

Loki stopped in his tracks, hearing angelic humming from the bathroom down the hall, "You didn't tell me you had company" Loki said sternly.

"She won't be here for long, maybe a week at most" Thor said, giving his brother a soft smile, "Tea?" He asked once more.

"Whatever happened between you and that mortal, Jane?" He asked.

"I broke up with her..." Thor uttered, letting out a sad chuckle.

"So, she broke up with you?" Loki asked, letting out a slight chuckle, "You should have known better not to fall in love with a mere mortal, they're fools" He said.

"This mortal was not a fool! She was different... I loved her very much..." Thor muttered softly, letting out a brief sigh, "So, I'll take that as a yes on tea?" Thor asked.

"Yes, I will have some tea" Loki mumbled, he roamed down the hallway and toward the bathroom where he heard a beautiful voice continue to sing.

"When you kiss me heaven sighs" You sung radiantly.

Loki quietly opened the door and continued to listen, never had he heard such a beautiful and heavenly voice.

"And though I close my eyes" You sang.

Loki only left the door open a crack and made sure he could not be seen.

"I see La Vie En Rose", Loki quietly opened the door, utterly amazed at the voice he was hearing, it was hypnotizing, he felt like he was falling in love, was he?

"Thor, I know you're in here you pervert, can you pass me my shampoo, it's on the shelf above the toilet" You mumbled.

Loki panicked and quickly looked around, he hesitated for a moment and just grabbed a nearby bottle and handed it to you.

"Not this shampoo, the other one silly" You said, handing it back to him; you hummed quietly as you waited for him.

Loki set the bottle down and reached at the bottle on the shelf above the toilet, he handed it to you, hoping it was the right bottle this time; "Strange mortals and their hair products..." Loki whispered, under his breath.

"When you press me to your heart", you paused for a moment and looked down at the shampoo bottle, "This is yours Thor..." You grumbled, you peeked out of the shower curtain and handed it to him but saw a tall thin man in a black suit standing feet away from you, his quickly adverted his eyes and turned away.

Loki quickly turned around and walked into the wall, he opened his eyes and rubbed his forehead, groaning slightly.

You couldn't help but giggle, "Let me guess, you're Thor's brother?" You asked.

"How did you know?" Loki asked.

"No one from Midgard looks like you do" You muttered softly, "Could you hand me the towel on the counter before you leave?" You asked.

Loki looked at you strangely, he was dressed like a normal Midgardian and it drove him crazy, but he did it to fit in; he stepped over to the vanity counter before handing you your towel, "I must say, you have the most alluring voice I have ever heard..." Loki uttered, before leaving and closing the door behind him.

"I'm in a world apart" You continued to sing, "A world where roses bloom".

Loki leaned against the wall and smiled softly.

"And when you speak, angels sing from above" You hymned, you turned off the faucet before getting out of the shower, wrapping the towel around your chest, "Everyday words seem, to turn into love songs..." You sung, looking at yourself in the mirror.

You let out a brief sigh looking at your blotchy and irritated red skin, you picked up your comb and began to gently run it through your hair, "Give your heart and soul to me" You sang, "And life will always be... La Vie En Rose" You muttered softly, you walked out of the bathroom and down the hallway toward your room.

Thor tapped his brothers shoulder, "What are you doing up here?" He asked.

"Who is that?" Loki asked.

"She is a guest, now come down and drink your tea, before it gets cold" Thor said sternly, dragging his brother downstairs.

"Have you heard her voice? It's absolutely radiant..." Loki muttered softly.

"Yes, her voice is quite beautiful" Thor said, smiling slightly.

"No mortal could have such a beautiful voice" Loki said sternly.

"Well this mortal does, also don't make fun of her, she can't speak much English" Thor mentioned.

"She could speak perfect English when I was in there" Loki chuckled, but soon realized he had just confessed that he had been in the bathroom while you had been in the shower.

"Were you in there?" Thor asked.

"Of course not! Why would you think such a thing?" Loki laughed innocently.

"Come with me and you'll be... In a world of pure imagination" You hummed, making your way downstairs, "Greetings Thor" You said, giving him a soft smile.

"This is my brother, Loki..." Thor introduced.

"Yes, we've met" You muttered softly, grinning at Loki.

"Would you like a cup of tea?" Thor asked.

"I'd love a cup" You smiled, "hvor lenge er broren din?" (How long is your brother staying for?) You asked, looking at Thor.

"Han kan forstå deg" (He can understand you) Thor stated, "Han kan bli for en stund, ikke bekymre deg, han vil sove på sofaen" (He might stay for a while, don't worry, he'll sleep on the couch) Thor muttered, letting out a chuckle.

"Så, hvor lenge har du vært på jorden, prins Asgard?" (So, how long have you been on earth, prince of Asgard?) You asked.

"Hvor lærte du å synge sånn?" (Where did you learn to sing like that?) Loki asked.

"Du har aldri svart på spørsmålet mitt" (You never answered my question) You said sternly.

"Du har aldri svart på meg" (You never answered mine) Loki said sternly, "Jeg besøker bare" (I'm just visiting) Loki stated.

"Og jeg lærte aldri fra noen" (I never learned from anyone)" You muttered softly.

"Hvor er du fra?" (Where are you from?) Loki asked.

"How would you like your tea?" Thor interrupted.

"Cream and sugar, please" You smiled.

"Would you like anything else" Thor asked.

"No, I'm all right" You said, smiling softly; you took your cup of tea and took a sip, "La oss bare si at jeg kommer fra et sted, veldig langt herfra" (Let's just say I come from a place, very far from here) You said, winking at Loki before walking upstairs. Loki stared at you in pure awe and watched as you walked back upstairs and into your room, "Who is she?" Loki asked, turning his gaze to his brother.
