October

"Are you and Louis going to get married soon?" A little girl with curly blonde hair asked me as she sat on my lap. She gently plays with my hair while her blue eyes stare at me.

"We'll see." I smiled at her.

"Can I be your flower girl?" She asked me and I just nodded yes. One of the older girls called her so she gently climbed down my lap. A little boy with brown hair tugged on my dress and guided me to a room; I guessed it was his room.

"My name is Charlie. I'm this years old." He held up six fingers.

"Do you want a baby?" He asked me once we sat on his little bed.

"Yes." I smiled at him gently.

"Can it be me?" He asked, his green eyes looking at me softly. "My mommy left me here when I was four. She told me she doesn't love me anymore."

Tears surged in my eyes as I look at him. It made me feel so lucky for the childhood I had but it also made me gloomy because I didn't do anything good to deserve this life.

"Your mommy loves you; she's just having a hard time right now. But for the mean time, I'll visit you as much as I can. I'll be your mommy temporarily." I smiled at him.

"Temporarily?"

"It means that I'll be your mommy until your real mommy comes and get you." I hugged him but then he yawns so I just let him in my lap and sang softly in his ear.

"Please don't leave me mommy." He whimpers.

"I won't baby." I whispered and continued singing in his ear. Soon he was passed out in my arms while I cradle him softly.

"You put him to bed." I whipped my head around and saw Louis standing in the doorway. "That's good. He's had insomnia since he was put in here."

"Wow."

"Yeah, his mother leaving him did a toll on him." He said softly wrapping his arms around my shoulder as soon as he sat down.

"Thank you for the best date."

"The best? You're only saying that because it's your first one, you have no one to compare it to." He chuckled.

"Funny. Well, it really is the best. I was expecting you to just take me out in the mall or something to be honest."

"I'm glad you liked it."

"Loved it." I corrected him. He pecks my cheeks softly and I lay down Charlie on his bed.

"Let's say goodbye to the other kids," He kisses my forehead as we walked down hand in hand in the halls.

We eventually said goodbye to the other kids. They were all sad to let us go. It was evident on their faces that they were happy upon having us there and it made my heart swell with happiness. I knew I have to go back.

It's been two weeks since the orphanage date and I have been dropping by almost twice a week with or without Louis. We've been in a total of five official dates and I've been happier ever since. I still haven't told Harry or my parents yet.

"Come on!" Louis exclaimed while gesturing for me to hurry up. We were on one of his spontaneous dates as he likes to call it and I was tired due to the flight of almost 40 stairs with Louis making comments on how slow I am. "Now close your eyes."
