The past week has been sleepless for me; I kept replaying what happened in my mind, it wasn't how I imagined us to meet.

After he uttered those words, I scrambled awkwardly to excuse myself and had a nurse discharge him the next day, luckily his pain meds made him drowsy so he slept the whole night, while I didn't.

I couldn't go home so I just stayed in the comfort of my office and didn't come out unless it was really necessary.

Niall was very understanding that I needed alone time so he offered to watch over Chance again the next day.

That weekend, Chance talked my ear off on how he got Louis' autograph and I worriedly look at Niall on how he got it but he assured me that all Louis knows was Chance's first name and that he didn't see Niall.

Today, I was still in charge of Louis' change of cast, so I was getting ready to start my day. I was nervous but excited as well; it felt like I was meeting with my first year crush, which wasn't really a lie.

"Chance, baby, are you ready?" I called up the stairs as I look at my reflection at the mirror. I was mindlessly putting effort on what I look like so I hastily pressed my palms and rubbed them up and down my thigh in anticipation of meeting him.

I was in black and white pinstripe skinny slacks with a white blouse tucked in and my white pumps, my hair was curled and my makeup was done.

"Chance, mum's going to be late for work!" I called again and after a couple of seconds, he strutted down the stairs with the outfit I laid for him which consisted of a black shirt, denim jeans and his black vans, his fringed was down and his eyes were bright; he looked like his father. "All set?"

"Yes, mum." He smiled as he swung his backpack. "You look beautiful!"

"Thank you baby, now grab your jacket." I smiled.

"I'm like a celebrity at school now mum." He smiled as he climbed in the passenger seat.

"What do you mean?" I said as I put on my seatbelt.

"Everybody likes me and thinks I'm cool because I met and had a picture with Louis Tomlinson. He even said I was cool, everybody likes me for It." he gushed excitedly as I drive to his school.

"Really?" I smiled forcedly, my eyes never leaving the road. I already know they would like each other but I don't know if Louis would even look at me if I say this to him.

Chance continued to gush as I just nodded to make it look like I'm listening but my mind was elsewhere. I didn't mean it on purpose; my thoughts were on the man I used to call mine.

"I love you Chance, Uncle Ni will pick you up later." I smiled as I pulled over at the front of his school.

"I love you too, mum." He said and went to close the door after giving me a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Good morning Dr. Styles." Teri, one of the head nurses, greeted me as I went to clock in.

"Good morning, Teri." I nodded. "I have a 7:30am appointment with Louis Tomlinson; just send him in my office, yeah?"

"Yes Dr. Have a good day!"

"You too, Teri!" I smiled before making my way to my office.

I tidied my things up a bit and even turned Chance's picture towards me in case Louis sees it. I was not given much time as I heard a knock on my door and Teri's head poked through the door after.
