CHAPTER LXIX
March
It's been almost two weeks since we moved to our new house and everything was going to the right direction.
We decided to avoid all arguments as we go on the two weeks with us trying to decorate the house. So far it has been good, Chance loves his new school and ever since people knew he was Louis Tomlinson's son, he has been getting special treatment from everyone especially at his new football training.
Niall was moving today and I was excited to show him the record shop I've also been working on. I finished everything three days ago and all I need is for Niall to sign the lease.
I tucked in my red polka dot sleeveless blouse in my high-waisted denim shorts and suddenly I realized how I dress like a teenager but I honestly didn't care. My red vans slip ons matched my entire outfit together as well as the red cat-eye sunglasses Harry bought me a few years back.
"You look beautiful." I heard Louis said from behind me as he wrapped his arms around my waist and stared at me through the mirror. "Honestly, how did I get so lucky?"
"Thank you." I giggled as I turned to face him. He was about to get to practice as well as he stood before me in his uniform. "Thank you for setting up this house, it's amazing."
"To be honest, I saw this house four or five years ago and I thought to myself, Vee would love that house and then I smacked myself for ever thinking that but look at where we are now." He grinned as he bent down slightly to peck my lips.
"I do love it, it's perfect." I smiled back when he pulled away.
"Now, where are you going all dressed up?" He playfully teased as he poked my side making me squirm. "I would have a lot of rivals with you walking around town looking like this."
"Louis, stop." I whined, trying to cover up my reddening face with my hands. "I'm going to Niall's flat to help him unpack and then I'll tell him about the shop."
"Tell Niall to poke any eye that looks at you longer than they should." He joked but I knew he was half-serious.
"Nobody would be looking at me." I laughed lightly as I wriggled out of his grip and bent down to get my bag. "I'm going now, he arrived five minutes ago."
"Let me walk you out." He offered but I shook my head.
"That won't be necessary; you go eat your breakfast, yeah?" I said as I retrieved my red lipstick from my bag, swiping it on my lips as I faced the mirror.
"Whoa, whoa, I'm definitely walking you out, just to remind Derry next door that you're mine."
"Derry?" I snorted as I began to walk down the stairs.
"Yes, Derry. He's been eyeing you ever since we got here."
"And how would you know that?"
"I'm a guy, I know how guys think." He pouted as he followed me out.
I got in my car and rolled the windows down since it was a nice day out, hence the shorts. As I rolled it down, Louis leaned in the window.
"I'll miss you." He pouted and I giggled, giving him a kiss.
"It's only for a couple of hours." I smiled softly, my hand reaching up to cup his face.
"When any guy comes up to you, flash him your ring." He ordered making me laugh.
"It depends if he's cute." I teased him.
"Vee!"
"I'm kidding!" I giggled.
