CHAPTER XXXV

July

"Galway here we come!" Zayn hooted as Liam began to drive, since he was the only responsible driver.

We were on our third day in Ireland and unsurprisingly, Niall's family welcomed us with open arms. We were heading towards Galway and we'll be visiting the places Niall and I didn't scrape when we went to Galway.

My head rested on Louis shoulder as he played with my hands and I honestly couldn't imagine a better place to spend the last remaining days of our summer.

"I love you." He whispered before tilting my chin upward and placing a gentle kiss on my lips. Of course the moment had to be interrupted by my Irish friend who poked his head in between us from the backseat, forcing us to break the kiss.

"We get it, you're in love. Come on, don't rub it to my face." He groaned.

"They're in love Nialler, let them be." Danielle said from the passenger seat. "Get a girlfriend and you'll understand."

"No one seems to like me." He huffed. "They don't want this hubba hubba baby."

A chorus of laughter was shared among us and that was the last thing I remembered before I fell asleep.

"Baby, we're here." A voice I had recognized to be Louis, said as he gently shook me.

I squinted my eyes and looked around to see that we were in fact at our first destination. The beautiful cliffs of Moher were breathtaking. The cold air immediately greeted my skin as Louis opened the door of our vehicle.

Louis immediately noticed that I was cold, pertaining to my hand rubbing up and down my arms and he wrapped his arm around my shoulder, guiding me to where the group was setting up. We were spending the afternoon here before hitting the streets of Galway City.

I giggled as Liam and Zayn struggled to put the blanket down on the grass because of the strong wind and just ended up sitting on them and pulled their girlfriends between their legs. Louis did the same and wrapped his arms around me before kissing my neck.

We were all quiet for a moment, enjoying the view the cliffs of Moher gave us. The sound of the air whooshing and the waves crashing below were the only things that were heard but we weren't complaining.

Niall being the single pringle that he is, had cans of beers in between his legs and an opened beer clutched in his right hand. Despite the lack of partner, he seemed satisfied, contented with what he has now.

"I just want to say, I'm very lucky to have you guys." Zayn's voice broke the silence and we all silently agreed to what he said.

"Yeah, it's our senior year, except for Venus and this might be our last summer together before we go our separate ways and I'm very grateful to have spent it with you guys." Hearing Liam utter these words brought tears to prick in my eyes but none threaten to fall.

"A year ago, we were all practically falling apart. I'm going to admit, Zayn and I were constantly fighting, Liam and Danielle were too and Louis was lost. You guys brought us back to ourselves." Perrie said raising her can of Coke.

"Bloody hell, I didn't know we were going to be emotional." Danielle teased, a grin highlighting her features. "But I agree with Perrie, this past year has been different with you guys and we're all quite upset that this might be our last summer together."

"Yeah, with Perrie and Zayn going to Germany to start their lives, Me and Dani going to London to build ours, Niall doing god knows what and Louis for Manchester United, the next year will be hectic as hell." Liam said while shaking his head.
