CHAPTER LXXI
March
"Louis!"
"Yeah?" Louis tiredly replied and I watched him saunter over to Eleanor's room for the millionth time for the past week.
I was studying a few things on our bed with my coffee, today was my day off and Louis decided to spend it with me but he's been spending it being Eleanor's slave.
"What did she want this time?" I asked Louis as I looked at him through my glasses.
"She bloody wanted me to rub her feet." Louis said annoyed as he removed the book gently from my hands then laid his head on my lap. "Do you still think this is a good idea?"
"Seeing you, like this? Maybe not." I said as I scratched his head, gently massaging it. "Whatever you say goes, we can find her an apartment that's close to us. I'll pay for it."
"No, you don't have to do that." Louis said, exhaling through his nostrils. "Let's tell her at dinner so she can have time to pack overnight."
"Okay." I nodded and leaned down to peck his lips.
"Hmm." He moaned, pulling me down by the neck before moving and flipping us so that I was straddling his lap. We were so lost in each other, shirts discarded, forgetting that we had another person in the house but of course, she had to remind us.
"Louis!"
"Go on." I giggled at his annoyed face. "I'll be waiting here, without a shirt on."
"Vee." He dragged out the vowel, pouting as he gets up. "That makes me not want to go."
"Hey! Put a shirt on, your body is mine to look at." I cheekily said with a wink and he did so, murmuring that he'll be back in a few.
I didn't put back my shirt on, as promised, since Chance was spending the night with Niall and Eleanor would never come into my room or that's what I thought.
After half an hour, Louis still wasn't back so I lay in bed still shirtless with my glasses on and reading my book. When you're a doctor, the studying never stops.
The door busted wide open, a few minutes later, as I was rummaging through my drawers for a working highlighter since mine just ran out of ink. Eleanor stood at the doorway, my first instinct was to cover my body but then I remember she's a woman, like me, but it still doesn't help the fact that I was self-conscious so I moved slowly towards my shirt that was on the ground.
"Ew." She commented then shook her head, her hair flying everywhere but it still managed to look beautiful. "Where's Louis?"
"I don't know." I cleared my throat. "I thought he went to see what you wanted."
"Yeah, I asked him to get strawberries and it's been half an hour now." She scoffed, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms over her chest. "What's taking him so long?"
"Maybe he went to the store." I suggested still standing in front of her.
"Ugh." She stomped her foot then rushed out the door, not bothering to close after her. Not seconds later, she returned with a mischievous smirk on her face. "By the way, word of advice, if I were you, I'd try to go to the gym, it seemed like your baby fat didn't go away."
With that, she turned on her heels, leaving me with a question: what just happened?
"Oh, thank you Lou!" I heard her exclaim, with her overly sweet voice before I heard footsteps coming towards the room and in came Louis with a blank look on his face but it changed once he saw me.
