CHAPTER LXXVIII

August

"What do you mean?" I confusedly asked Fizzy, slowly standing up from my spot.

"I don't know how to prove it or if Louis is going to be mad at me if I tell him to get a DNA test but that is not my brother's child." Fizzy stated, her voice rising. "Look, remember when you first brought Chance to us?"

I nodded my head, still confused to why she, out of all people, would think Eleanor is lying about the baby.

"When I saw Chance, I immediately knew he was a part of the family, not just because he looks so much like Louis but there was something, something that made me feel that he was a Tomlinson. Mum felt it too and I'm sure Lottie felt it, too." She was rambling so fiercely to prove her point. "Please do something about it."

"Fiz, I can't just waltz in there and tell them that that baby isn't Louis just because you didn't feel anything." I put a hand on hers. "I'm sorry."

"Okay." She nodded dejectedly. "I'm sorry, I just, I saw the baby for the first time and I just... he doesn't even look like Louis or Eleanor."

"It's fine Fiz." I smiled sadly. "Come on, let's get you home."

"The other have already left but Lottie is still inside, they tried calling you but your phone is off."

"Oh, how'd you find me?" I asked.

"I just was about to go to your house or Niall's but then I saw you here." She explained and I nodded, throwing an arm around her.

"Um...I didn't catch your name." I turned around and told the driver which was patiently standing behind me.

"It's Justin." He smiled sweetly.

"Justin..." I nodded. "Would you mind giving us a ride back home? I'll just pay you extra."

"No need, after all, my service to you isn't really finished until four am."

We drove to my house, deciding that I would just pick up Chance tomorrow.

I waved goodbye to Justin after knowing that this was his first time being a shirtless driver since he badly needed the money for her grandmother's operation. We exchanged numbers and I was grateful to have found a new friend.

"Are you going to be okay?" I asked Fizzy but she was already knocked out and sleeping due to the crazy night we just had.

But I couldn't sleep at all. I tossed and turned, bothered by what Fizzy told me but it was just a hunch, a mere assumption that would be 99% away from the truth.

The sun was beginning to rise when sleep finally came to me. But the state didn't last long as three hours later, I was up and puking my guts out.

"Baby?" I heard Louis come in the bathroom and I immediately put my hand up to stop him.

"No, don't come in, it's gross." I said my voice raspy from the exhaustion and lack of sleep.

"Love, I'm going to marry you in a month." He chuckled as he pulled my hair from my face as I let out a sound that was inhumane before vomiting again.

"When did you come in?" I said, standing up from my seat as it felt like I wasn't going to vomit again and walked to the sink to my brush my teeth.

"About an hour ago, I just picked Chance up." He explained, wrapping his arm around my waist from behind. "We're going to meet Samantha Rose later."

"Samantha Rose?" I asked but it was muffled due to the toothbrush inside my mouth.

"The baby." He smiled through the mirror at me. "Would you come with us?"
