Chapter 39

I was drying my body inside our bath room. I just took a half bath. Papalabas na ako nang marinig kong may kausap si Vin sa telepono.

" i can't go there tonight. I'm sorry! " he sound irritated.

" stop acting like a kid! Tell cheeny that I'll visit her tomorrow. " at pinatay niya na ang telepono. Nahilamos niya ang mukha niya at naupo sa sofa. Patay malisya akong lumabas nang banyo.

" babe. " i called him. I smiled at him. Kunyaring wala akong narinig.

" kanina ka pa? " medyo naalarma siya

" nope. Kalalabas ko lang. Bakit? "

" w-wala. Wala. Tara let's sleep. " tumayo na siya at lumapit sakin.

" wait magbibihis lang ako. " nakabalot lang kasi nang tuwalya ang katawan ko.

" no need. huhubarin din naman natin yon. " before i could protest ay nahablot niya na ang tuwalya ko. Ninja moves din eh!

" fuck baby! You never fail to arouse me! Alam mo bang mas binabaliw mo ako sa mga ngiti mo lang! " sabi niya at hinapit ang beywang ko. " you're so beautiful baby. Mas gumaganda ka as time flies by. " then he kiss me tenderly.

" wag na tayong maglokohan Vin. " i said between our kisses. Natigilan siya sa sinabi ko.

" what? " naguguluhan niyang tanong.

" este wag mo na akong bolahin pa. " he faked a smile. " sige na. Magbibihis muna ako. " at tinalikuran na siya.

" baby? " biglang tawag niya sakin pero nanatili lang akong nakatalikod sakanya. " i love you. " humarap ako sakanya at ginawaran siya nang ngiti. Bago ako tuluyang pumasok sa walk in closet ko.

I didn't know why it's so hard for him to tell me the truth. At hindi ko rin alam kung paano ko itatanong sakanya ang lahat. I needed to know it all pero ipinagkakait niya. I wipe my tears. I told myself to be strong but i can't. It does hurt. Still hurt. Hindi ko alam kung saan ako lulugar. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang dapat kong kalagyan. I just find myself keeping this heart aches for myself. And its freaking killing me inside. I don't know where to run to and whom to ask for help.

I touch my tummy. " baby you're all i have. Please give mommy strength. I'll do everything for you. I'll save everything for you. " yung kirot sa puso ko ay unti unting naiibsan just the thought that there's still someone who'll stay by my side.

Lumabas ako nang closet at nakita ko si Vin na naninigarilyo sa veranda. He looks terrible. Keeping secrets from others specially from someone you love will definitely make you horrible. But it's his choice not mine. I cleared my throat to get his attention. Napadako ang tingin niya sakin so i walk to get near him.

" is everything okay? " i ask him. He just nod. Itinapon niya yung upos nang sigarilyo nang makalapit na ako. But still i am inches apart from him.

" yeah! Everything's fine babe. Marami lang talaga akong iniisip nowadays but you have nothing to worry about. I can handle it my own. " giit niya.

" you know you can tell me everything that's bothering you. " i said. Trying to let him confess to me. Nilagok niya ang alak na nasa lamesa. Umiinom pala siya. " just say what you wanna say. I'll try my best to understand it. " but instead magsalita siya ay tumawa lang siya.

I fell insulted by his gestures. Nakakatawa ba ang sinabi ko?

" babe. It's all about work. You really have nothing to worry. By the way I'll be out of town tomorrow. I'll be back the day after. " sabi niya.

Out of town o pupuntahan mo ang lintang yon!? Hinilot ko ang sentido ko. I try to understand him but i can't. Hindi ko na yata kaya. Tinalikuran ko na siya. Mas minabuti ko nang matulog kaysa kausapin siya.
