Noah flew through the thick batches of leaves, his wings behind him making soft rustling noises as he moved. He could hear the human lumbering behind him, branches snapping and leaves being pushed to the side as they followed him.

His shirtless torso rose and fell with how hard he was breathing before he finally ducked behind the thickest tree branch closest to him. He tried to calm his racing heart and steady his breathing, but he could barely focus on that as the sounds drew closer to him.

Noah grabbed onto the bark of the tree and squinted his eyes shut. He listened. Then suddenly, all the noise stopped. It went from noises of the human searching for him to dead silence. If anything, that was scarier than the noises he could hear before.

Slowly he pushed himself up, fluttering his wings and picking himself off the base of the branch. Still silence. Nothing but the beating of his own heart reached his ears. Perhaps the human had gone elsewhere, and that helped him relax.

A triumphant smile began to cross his lips, but it soon faded as two hands larger than him shadowed him from behind. The fingers closed around him, and he instantly stopped flying to avoid damage to his wings.

"Ha! Found you!" His boyfriend grinned triumphantly, opening his hands slowly to let the fairy relax in his palms. "I bet you thought I gave up!"

Noah grumbled a few curses under his breath before smiling up at the human. "I kinda did, yeah. I'm impressed. You found me faster than last time," he chuckled lightly and took a glance at his lace-like wings to ensure there was no damage dealt to the delicate material. "You still have to be careful though. You were gentle, but I don't want another rip."

"Oh, you're right," Victor sighed lightly, using a finger to gently stroke Noah's wings. He smirked as the fairy shivered in his hands. "I know you like that."

"Shut up," Noah blushed brightly and averted his eyes, running a hand through his thick brown hair. "You're such a jerk sometimes."

"And technically you should be a girl. You're a fairy after all," Victor laughed as tiny irritated eyes turned back to him.

"How many times do we have to go after this?! There are guy fairies! We're not all girls! Even in Tinkerbell, there were boy fairies, so what're you talking about?!" Noah folded his arms over his bare chest, scowling.

The human grinned wider, resting a hand on his chin with a light chuckle. "So you watch Tinkerbell too?"

"Victor, I swear to God!" Noah fluttered his wings, floating up from his boyfriend's palm and hovered in front of the large face. "You're such a pain in the butt."

Slowly raising his hand, the large male gently pinched his tiny boyfriend's waist and moved him to his shoulder. "Yeah, but you love me either way right?"

"You know I do," Noah couldn't deny it, smiling a little as he laid down on Victor's shoulder. He stretched his bare feet up, resting them against his neck and stared up at the blue sky.

The tickling sensation against the neck made Victor smile and allowed it, knowing Noah was most comfortable that way. He didn't mind. The tiny feet kept him certain the fairy was still there. "Hey, Noah?"

"Yeah, Vic?" Noah turned his head to the side to look at him.

"I love you."

Noah smiled and slowly closed his baby blue colored eyes, letting the warm sunlight cover his body. "I love you too."
