Me and Peeta sleep in the same house now. His memory is not fully back again. We sleep in different rooms although i miss him a lot. To be by my side and comfort me as always. We always keep each other company but not how I wanted it to be.
My nightmares are getting worse now, I still take my medicine every once im a while but i've stopped since Peeta's memory loss. He remembers how to paint. Every morning when I wake up hes always painting in his room drawing pictures of the arena or even me. He doesn't know why but I know his nightmares are about losing me.
"Hey Peeta thats lovely" I say sitting besides him "Thanks, I hope you're not uncomfortable about me drawing you.." he continues "No Peeta its okay" "Really?" he says "Yeah, I know-" i stop myself because It'll be creepy if i know what his dreams are about.
"Know what?" he says. "Nothing Peeta just forget it" I get up from my seat and he grabs my arm "No I want to know" i sigh then i say "I know why you always painting me Peeta, your nightmares are about losing me arent they?" "How do you know" he says but i smile then look away "Peeta because-" i get paused by him leaning in and kissing me I can feel his shaky hands all around me.
"Katniss I remember now! Everything what are you doing here I can hurt you go please I was captured! by his evil brother" he says seriously grabbing me hard "Peeta stop" I hug him back tears rolling down my face "We're safe Peeta stop! I would never have left your side even if you told me to, not again" i say. He hugs me tight and hide his face on my neck "I missed you Katniss, I couldn't find my way back but you helped me" he kisses me not like this other times but with a real passion I feel like i'm being lifted off the ground "I love you Peeta don't ever leave me again." "I wont i'll be here Always remember?" Always.
*** 3 weeks later ***
We went down to the capitol for a little vacation time. Its summer time and I could really use some time alone with Peeta. We invited some friends over like Annie, Johanna, Haymitch, Gale i invited him but Peeta doesn't know. We get to our hotel it looks similar like the one we stayed at the Quarter Quell but it was bigger and it was all white and black. Black curtains with gold glitter. There were hot tubs, a big swimming pool and a big flat screen tv thats what they call it now. People stopped using holograms and now watch tv in this big flat box. "Peeta i'm gonna take a shower" i yell from our room. Its pretty comfy and it has a king bed. Just right for the two of us. "Okay kat" he says. We brought a lot of luggage but its only because we have so much to do here. I take off my now sweaty clothes and hop in the shower. I let the hot water run through my back while I close my eyes and meditate for a while. I hear the door open then i see Peeta hop in the shower. I just turn around and hop on him. Today's just getting started...
