I highly doubt you're either of those."

"Why is that?"

"I can read you pretty easily." I said as I texted my mom back. I offered her a glance and almost laughed at her shocked expression.

"Oh yeah?" She challenged. I felt strange as I looked her in the eye; a shiver crawled up my spine.

"Uh, yes?" I challenged back. She leaned forward on the table, laying her head on her hand with a lazy expression. I raised a brow at this.

"Then read me." She didn't take her eyes off mine and for some reason, I couldn't either.

"Uh, with what?"

"Well, name the type of person you think I am." She leaned back again, her arms crossing. I ran my hand through my bangs.

"Hm, well you're obviously very competitive when it comes to sports. You probably have an easy and laid back room at home that consists of posters such as death cab for cutie and Jack Johnson. I bet the type of movies you watch are that of Disney, because secretly you're more a child at heart then you'll admit.
Your relationships don't last that long because you can't stand commitment because of the fact you like to be left alone. Am I somewhat close?" I asked as I looked at her. She had an amused look on her face.

"Uh, wow... you were pretty damn close, except its Tegan and Sara and John Mayer." She smirked. I laughed as she laughed as well.

"Who is Tegan and Sara?" I asked curiously. She gawked at me as she pulled her iTouch out.

"They're these amazing twins from Canada, Wanna hear?" She asked as she waved her iPod at me. I scooted my chair closer to her as she offered me an ear bud. I liked them immediately with their interesting lyrics and instruments. I grabbed her iPod to see what their album was called. "Like?" She asked as she pulled the ear buds out.

"Not what I'm use to listening to, but yeah they're good." I moved my chair back to where I was.

"Which is what? R & B with Brittney Spears and Black eyed peas?" She laughed. I gave her a blank stare.

"Now who's being stereotypical?" I smirked at her bemused reaction.

"By how you dress and act, it's custom yes."

"How does I dress have to do with anything?" I asked as I looked at my shirt and jeans.

"Then what kind of music do you listen to?" She asked as she placed her iTouch back into her pocket. I rolled my eyes at her smug look.

"Colbie Caillat, The Beach Boys, Bon Jovi, and more like them?"

"Ok close enough." I rolled my eyes as she stole the rest of my coffee.

"You're a catch, aren't you?" I asked as I checked the time.

"How do you figure?" She asked as she drank the rest of my drink.

"I don't know. I find you interesting though." I said. She looked up at me then looked elsewhere.

"Yeah well, to be honest. I like hanging out with you. You're not annoying like my other friends." She commented.

"Thanks... I guess." I laughed as she smiled at me. We talked about random things for the next hour as we waited. It didn't even feel like 2 hours though as the boys ran out, Noel running straight for me and hugging me.

"Oh my gosh! It's so fun Jemie!" He cheered. I scuffed up his hair.

"So, I'm guessing you like it?" I asked him. I almost laughed as I watched his face gleam.

"Yes! Oh, and Jade invited me over to play video games with him, can I please go! It's only Saturday." He latched onto my arm as we stood up to leave. I looked over to Jedean and she shrugged her shoulders.

"That's up to their parents, Noel. Have them ask first."

"Oh trust me, my parents won't care." Jedean commented as she stood up as well. I watched Haden and Noel run to what seemed to be her car.

"Are you sure he won't be a bother?" I asked as we followed them. She laughed as she stretched.

"Nah, my mom won't mind. She'll make them lunch and all that jazz."

"Jazz?" I laughed. She glared at me playfully.

"Why yes. Don't judge me." She pouted.

"Alright, well I'll drop him off in a little?"

"You can just come now you know." She said as she sat on the driver's side.

"Oh, well ok. You ready Noel?" I asked as I looked over to the two blonde boys heavily concentrating on Jade's PSP.

"Yes! Can I ride with Jade, Jemie?" I raised my eyebrow as I looked over to Jedean.
She just rolled her eyes and nodded her head yes. I smiled as I made sure he was buckled in, hearing a whiny complaint from him.

"So just follow me, it's not too far." Jedean said as she shut her door.
