Chapter 66: The Fight!

Hello?" Bannie said in a tired tone. I smiled as I wiped my eyes.

"Hey..." I said as I took a seat at the bus stop.

"Oh hey, how's it up there? Are you okay, Jem?" She asked quickly. I smiled as I felt a tear escape my eye.

"No, I'm not okay. I'm miserable." I said honestly. Bannie was the one and only person, aside from Daney of course, that I would tell everything to.

She knew everything that ran in my mind basically before it even came to mind.

"What's the matter? Does this have to do with Jedean again?" She asked as I heard her moving around, most likely sitting up now.

"Yeap." I laughed as I leaned my head back and placing my bag closer to me.

"What did she do now?"

"She uh... well... we kinda did it? And then I found out she used me for sex and I'm just really-." My cell phone was ripped out of my hand.

I looked over startled to see Jedean standing before me in her uniform and flip flops, her sunglasses blocking me from the obvious angry eyes. She put the phone to her ear as she spoke to Bannie.

"Hi Bannie... Yeah she's going to have to talk to you later... no, don't be an idiot... Her and I need to have a serious discussion, she'll call you afterwards to tell you all the awful shit about me okay? Goodbye, Bannie." She said as she slammed my phone shut. She tossed it to me before grabbing my gym bag.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I asked as I ran after her. She opened the backseat of her Car and tossed my bag inside, slamming the door shut and turning on her heel.

"Get the in the car, now." She said as she motioned to the other side. I looked around, embarrassed as my team mates watched the scene. "Would you like me to put you in myself?" She asked with a tone that actually scared me sort of.

I glared at her though as I rolled my eyes and got in the passenger seat. Before I even got my seatbelt on, she peeled out of the parking lot, almost hitting my coach in the process.

"Calm down, Jedean!" I yelled at her as she made an illegal turn down Jefferson's St. "What the fuck has gotten into you?" I demanded as I turned my head towards her.

I could see her eyes on the side of her glasses and boy... did she look upset...She didn't answer though, she just kept on driving, at a very high speed that scared me. I sighed though as looked at my cell phone to see Bannie had left me numerous text messages.
Once again, it was ripped from my hands and thrown in the backseat. I looked over at Jedean to see her eyes concentrated on the road. "If you don't stop doing that..."

"Or what? You'll call her again and tell her what an awful person I am?" She asked as she turned down a familiar path. I swallowed as stupid thoughts came into my mind, like... 'Oh my god she's going to murder me!' or... 'Is she going to rape me then leave my body to the wolves?' I sighed miserably and watched as she pulled off the side of the road and onto a dirt road.
Once we were at the same clearing that she took me to before, she turned the car off, opened her door and slammed it.

"Come on." She said in the same tone. I followed after her as she took a seat on the fence, staring out at the scenery.

"Are you going to tell me what the hell your problem is?" I asked as I took a seat on the grass in front of her. She looked down at me as she leaned against the fence in her typical lazy Jedean way.
She didn't seem upset anymore, so that was good... right?

"Why did you tell Bannie that I used you for sex? When I've told you numerous times that it's not just sex to me." She asked in such a casual voice that it kinda threw me off guard for a second.
I leaned back on my hands as I brushed the hair out of my face, wishing she'd remove her sunglasses. I chewed on the inside of my cheek before I spoke aloud.

"Well, isn't it true? I mean, by what you said last night it's understandable." I said honestly as I tried to calm down my emotions. God it was so hot out...

"What's understandable?" She asked as her eyebrows raised in question.

"That's how you are. Your reputation shows how you are..." I sighed as I looked away from her. "I know you're into that whole sex and leave thing, but that's not how I am."

"Neither am I." She said as she moved to sit next to me on the grass. I turned my head to her as I gave her a look that basically said, 'Excuse me?'

"Well... not anymore at least. It's... complicated." She said as she took off her sunglasses, chewing on the end of them as she looked onward.
I looked at her, my heart pacing as I tried to think of what she meant.

"You mean that in a way that you want to not have sex?" I asked, still confused and still trying to understand her. She turned her head, a lazy grin wearing on her face.

"No, I still want to have sex. Just not with numerous amounts of people." She turned her head forward again, tucking her bangs over her face more.
I looked at her, not wanting to miss any type of emotion that appeared on her face.

"What are you trying to say?

Because you-."

"It's not easy for me to talk openly about my feelings, especially when it comes towards other people... but as you probably noticed by my behavior, what you told her really pissed me off." She brought hers knees to her chest as she turned towards me, giving me full contact. "Like, I told you before that it's not just sex to me... it wasn't... just sex..."

"Okay... well... what is it then? Because you said you don't want a relationship." I said as I moved to where I was now laying stomach, looking up at her.
I loved that she removed her sunglasses, making it easier for me to diagnose what she was thinking.

"I never said I didn't want to be in a relationship, I simply stated that you didn't need to explain anything to me because we aren't in a relationship." She said as she ran a hand through her hair.

I noticed that she wasn't giving me eye contact. She was biting her lip as she twirled around her aviators.

"Then what are you saying?" I asked as I tried to get an answer that I was hoping to hear.

She looked me in the eye as she gave me a sad yet genuine smile.
