Jemie! Will you teach us some soccer moves? Dean says you're really good!" Jade pleaded as he rolled around in circles on the grass.
"Hm... alright, get me a ball." They cheered and ran off to find me a ball as I took a seat next to the exhausted Bannie. "So, what do you think?"
"Of?" She said as she leaned back on her hands.
"Of her? Like her family and such?"
I still think you like her." She snickered as I hit her leg. "I'm serious. I honestly think you both like one another.
You guys kept looking at one another at dinner. Plusssss, I admit it, she's hot as hell""I don't like her like that..." I protested as I groaned.
"Yeah ok, so you're in deniallll. That's alright, you'll admit it sooner or later."
She laughed at my annoyed groan.
Ok so, I think her family is really amazing, do you come here every day after school?"
"Yeah, but it's been recently like the last 3 days or so. I pick him up for my mom."
Does it make your mom feel bad..?" Bannie asked as she noticed the boys charge back out.
"What do you mean?"
"Well... you're admiring another mom and not her, does she act like it doesn't bother her?" I sat there for a few moments as I watched the boys kick the ball back and forth.
I guess I've never thought about that before..."
"Thought about what?" Jedean's voice came from my left. I looked over and noticed she had a disgruntled look on her face as she took a seat.
"How she might be hu-." I elbowed Bannie in the side to get her to shut up. Jedean raised her eyebrow at me.
"Nothing, don't worry about it." She shrugged her shoulders and rested her elbows on her knees.
"So... you fight with your parents over college eh?" I asked, trying to get her to talk. She looked at me for a moment then stood up to steal the ball from the boys.
And you're ignored"! Bannie laughed. Jade and Noel both chased Jedean around, trying to get the ball back, but failing every time.
"I'm not ignoring her." She said as she let the boys think they took it from her forcefully, jumping up in joy and running away with it. "I'm just avoiding the question."
"Isn't that the same as ignoring?" Bannie asked. Jedean put her hand to her chin to emphasize that she was thinking then laughed.
"Ok, yeah I guess so. My parents and I fight a lot about where I should go to college..." She said sadly as she rolled her eyes.
Well, shouldn't that choice be up to you? I mean it's your future and such..." I said as I threw my two cents in. She looked over at me and gave me a small smile.
"Yeah, but they'll be giving me a full ride unless I get a scholarship with soccer. However, the school they want me to go to doesn't have soccer. It's a medical school."
Do you ever want to be a doctor?" I asked, more interested in the fact that Jedean was actually sharing something personal about her family's problems.
She playfully lunged after the ball a few times, grinning when the boys had thought they got around her.
"No, that's the problem. I'm not really sure what I want to do, mainly all I want is to play soccer at a good school that has a choice of nearly everything, that way it'll fall into play, you know?"
