Chapter 48: Sea World

Your phones are charged?" Jedean's dad asked us as we all met up at the front gates of the park.

"Yes, Dad! Can we have our tickets now so we can go have fun?"

I looked at her, shocked that her dad didn't seem to care how she talked to him. He rolled his eyes as he handed the boys each ten dollars to spend, of course making them go in fanatics... I looked at my mom to see that she wanted to stop him, but Emily pulling her to the side.

"Look, I told you that it's our treat. We've planned this for our families and I know we haven't known each other very long but... well we just feel you deserve it, please don't think we're over stepping your boundaries please?" She whispered to her, even though I heard everything.

I looked over to Daney, who had the same look as mom did. My mom smiled though as she nodded her appreciation.
Daney was just as shocked as I was; did mom really not let her pride get in the way...?

"Alright alright... you guys ready?" Mom asked us as she handed us our tickets, which she would not allow the Tans to pay for. I guess her pride kicked in at that time. I smiled as I hugged her.

"Please, enjoy it mom?" I whispered to her. "Don't think about work and money, okay?" I asked as I pulled back, to look at her expression. She had a bright smile as she looked at the adults in the group.

"I will."

"So," Nathan started as he looked at Jedean and myself. "I'm going to be giving you guys full responsibility of the boys, okay? And I'll be giving back your credit card, Jedean. Spending limit is only a thousand, so please, don't go too crazy?" He asked as she stuck the gold card in her wallet. I stood there just as jaw dropped as Noel and Daney.

"Alright, come on guys!" Jedean yelled as she grabbed Jade and Noel's hands, pulling them into the ticket line, myself following them.

Daney decided to stay with the grownups, saying she didn't want mom to feel bad or like the third wheel.

It took probably no longer than 15 minutes for us to enter the park, and then we were off. With a map in our hands, we argued on where to go first. Shamu? The Shipwreck Rapids? I wanted to go see the Whale exhibit, but that got shot down within 5 seconds once the talk about dolphins came up.

"I wanna go see the dolphins!" Jade cried out as he tugged on Jedean's shirt. She swatted his hand though, looking at the map then up at me.

"Do you want to see the Dolphins?" She asked me, ignoring the boy's cry for attention. I shrugged my shoulders as I unzipped my jacket, tying it around my waist.

Jedean gave me a bored look then looked down at the boys as she grabbed their hands. "I guess we're going to see the dolphin show first." Jedean looked over her shoulder at me as they continued to walk forward. I rolled my eyes and grabbed Noel's hand, following them.

The afternoon was... well it was amazing to sum it all up. The dolphin show was so interesting and awesome, seeing well trained mammals do flips in the air, sing us a song, and carry the trainers was just pure amusement. After the Dolphin show, we saw the Believe show which involved the orcas.

Now that, was badass... except for the fact I kept getting splashed on. We went on the Journey to Atlantis ride at least 3 times in a row... but decided to take a break when we came across the gaming booth.

Jedean must of seriously pulled out eighty dollars for all of us to play around with. Who would thought that Noel and Jade would win so much crap... we had so much stuff we couldn't even carry it all! The park decided to store our things in the front office for us though seeing as how it wouldn't all fit in the locker and was obviously too much to carry.

The Shipwreck Rapids was a wonderful way to cool off in the Philippine weather, except I think I would have loved it more if I wasn't the only one getting splashed with pounds of water at a time. Though, I did get a chance to see Jedean's smirk disappear when a huge wave came crashing down on her side of the raft.

When lunch time rolled around we had pizza and smoothies from a place called Pineapple Pete's Island Eats. My god... were the smoothies something to die for... But then it was time for more excitement. We finally got to see the Whale exhibit, something I really wanted to see, and boy did love every minute of it. I even got to pet one! They are so... slimy yet dry? I don't know how to explain them, but it was awesome. We spent probably an hour at the sesame street playground, watching the boys run around with kids that ranged from age 3 to 15.

"My feet are killing me..." Jedean complained as we took a seat across from the arcade while the boys spent loads of coins on games.

I looked at Jedean and smiled, sipping on another smoothie as I motioned for her to move closer. She smiled tiredly, taking my drink, and leaning up against me. I knew I was blushing as I searched for people who might think we were more than friends, but thankfully we didn't seem to be having those looks.

"Maybe you should have worn flip flops to an amusement park?" I teased as I took my drink back. She scoffed as she dug her head into my neck. I closed my eyes as I tried to focus on something besides her being so close to me.

"If... you wore flip flops too!" She whined as she pointed to my feet. I wiggled my toes as I smirked down at her nonchalant expression.

"Guess I have super feet then?" I laughed at my own lame joke. She laughed as she sat up though, now with us facing each other on the bench.

"So, are you having a good day?" She asked out of the blue. I raised my brows at the sudden question, but smiled as I looked back over to the arcade.

"I love it... I really love that your family set this up... you have no idea how thankful my family is that my mother got a vacation for the first time since... well... my dad yeah..." I didn't feel the need to explain my entire life story to her, but I think she understood what I meant.

"It was really no problem... you guys think this is too much, but my parents really like you guys. It's as if you're family too. My parents are weird like that. They love helping people out... but most of the time they take advantage of how wealthy we are." She rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms. "But, my mom really loves having Noel over and talking to your mom. So, she figured why not, ya know? We have millions anyway and-."

"What!? Millions?! Like just set aside!?" I asked, almost shouting. Jedean covered my mouth as she let out a nervous laugh, noticing that people were now looking at us.

"Shhh, Jesus Christ woman... do you want us to get jumped?" I rolled my eyes as she smirked at my facial reaction. "And yeah. Didn't I tell you this already? My dad is a surgeon plus he has great investments... so... we have like a few millions of dollars just lying around. That's with all of our schooling paid in full whenever we need it you know?"

"But... how come you're not going to a private school then?" Jedean smirked and pushed up her sunglasses as she looked at me. I felt my face grow hotter under her stare.

"Got kicked out for sexual activity on school grounds." Wonderful, that just made me want to trust her that much more. I rolled my eyes and moved farther from her.

She pouted as she followed though, looking around before pulling me closer and stealing a quick kiss. I pulled away as fast as possible, seeing if anyone noticed.

Thank god no one seemed to care or even saw though. "Relax, I was just joking... I never attended it. My mother didn't want our heads to go over the top and be bratty kids. We aren't spoiled or anything." 'Yeah... Bullshit...' "Well... not as much as we could be."

I rolled my eyes at her cute little grin she was giving me. I stood up, throwing my now sadly emptied sup into the trash bin, turning back to the arcade arena...

"Jedean..." I called for her in panic. She rose from the bench and stood next to me, giving me a curious look. I looked at her with panic in my eyes as I ran over to the station where Noel and Jade were supposed to be...

Jedean now understood what was wrong...

"They're gone, Jedean!"
