Chapter 16: Argument!

So, Jemma tells me you seriously watch Noel for 3 hours? How the h-." I elbowed her in the side. "How can you deal with that?" She asked properly now. I looked up to see Jedean staring at me.

"Well, he's really no problem for me. Jade is just as hyper and out of control as Noel is. I just know how to handle them and how to figure things out for them, just like I'm sure your mother does right Jemma?" She said as she smiled over to me. I looked at Noel and saw a toothless grin.

"Yeah, well I mean you really help my mother out. She sometimes can't handle how hyper he can get because of her work and such. But, yeah I understand what you mean." I said with a fake smile. I had no idea what the hell I was talking about. I sighed as I ran a hand through my hair.

"It's really no problem for me to watch him; it actually helps out Jade and such.

Oh by the way, can you take Jade to Karate on Friday, Jedean?" She directed her direction. I looked over and studied Jedean's facial expression.

"Uhm, I was gonna go out. Can't dad go?"

"Jedean..." Her dad's stern voice came out. She sighed as she looked elsewhere.

"Okay okay.

Are you taking Noel?"

She better be!" Noel yelled out. I gave him a stern look then laughed as I noticed that they both had food all over themselves.

"Jade!" His dad said as he tried to wipe it off, but failed as the boys bolted into the backyard.

"I swear those two are like... a bomb of craziness." Bannie said as she went after them laughing.

I moved to get up and follow them, but was stopped by her dad's hand.

I was wondering, what are your plans after high school?" He asked as she motioned for me to sit back down. I looked at Jedean and noticed she was looking at me as well as her mom.

"Uh... well... I wanted to play soccer for a uni I suppose. Don't you Dean?" I asked, trying to get attention directed at someone other than me.

"Actually, I want to go to ADMU." Jedean said bluntly as she continued to pick at the rest of her food.

"ADMU? What happened to UST?" Her mother asked as she put her fork down to look at Jedean. "I thought we talked about this already? You were going to graduate from the same school as your father?

"I don't want go to UST plus they don't have sports." She said as she looked at me. "Where are you going?"

"Uh well... I don't know yet... I liked ADU?"

"Don't change the subject back on her, Dean." Nathan said as he looked at her now. Before I knew it, they were in a full blown argument. As quickly as I possibly could without seeming rude, I got up and went out back.

"Are they fighting?" Bannie asked as she let the two boys drag from her legs.

"Yeah... how are you able to walk?" I laughed as I noticed her strained face.

"I'm not really sure... what are they fighting over?"

"College." I laughed as I heard her classic 'Dear god.' remark.
