She was right; it was literally not even 3 minutes away. As we pulled up to her house I was already jealous. A two story beautifully decorated house and that was just the outside.

Without even realizing it, I was apparently sitting in my car as I gazed upon her home. I almost jumped out of my skin when she tapped on the glass, a smirk on her face. "Are you coming in or do you have to head back over?"

"Are you sure your parents won't mind?" I asked as I climbed out. She rolled her eyes as she followed the boys into the house.

"I'm one hundred percent positive. No need to be so paranoid." I glared at her back as I walked into her house. I nearly fainted at how amazing it looked.

"Wow..." I caught myself saying. I felt my face flush as she eyed me curiously.

"What?"

"Nothing, just your house is amazing." I said dreamy like as I walked around, staring at all the rooms. She leaned against the doorframe with her arms behind her head.

"It's alright I guess." She said as she yawned again.

"Oh! You're that girl we met last week! Your mother is wonderful." A feminine voice called out to our right. Jedean looked over and rolled her eyes. I smiled to her mom.

"Oh, yeah. You can call me Jemma." I smiled. She whipped her hands on her apron as she approached me. I extended my hand to shake hers, but was dumbfounded when her arms wrapped me, a tight hug.
I looked at Jedean who looked as though she was about to piss her pants from nearly laughing. The woman pulled back with a huge smile on her face.

"You can call me Emily. I don't want any of that Mrs. Tan. So, where ar-." Before she finished her sentence, the boys came running in from out of nowhere, almost knocking over Jedean. Now it was my turn to laugh as she tried to gain her balance again.

"Mommmm, can we have something to eat? We're both starving!" Jade complained as both him and Noel rubbed their stomachs. I was about to tell Noel not to be so rude, but was caught off guard as the woman laughed and placed her arms around the boys.

"Certainly, what would you boys like?" She asked as she herd the jittery two into the kitchen.

"... wow your mom..." I looked at Jedean who wore a genuine smile on her face.

"Is really nice and overly kind sometimes? Yeah, that sums her up quite nicely. So, are you hungry too?" She asked lastly as she too walked into the kitchen.
I sighed as I tried to ignore the fact that my stomach was rumbling something fierce now. My legs were basically moving all on their own.

"Mom, can we have grilled cheese sandwiches?" Jedean asked as she leaned over the breakfast nook. Her mom looked up from the two boys chowing down on sandwiches and smiled.

"Wanna come see my room?" I looked over to see her smiling.

"Yeah, sure." Next thing I knew I was being dragged out of the kitchen and up a huge flight of stairs.

The minute I walked in her room I felt completely jealous, but let it slide as I noticed the room really did scream 'lazy Jedean' then I couldn't help but smile. Her room was a cherry red, with lights and posters all over the place.

She even had pictures on her ceiling... I walked around her room as I let a small point of jealousy seep back into me as I noticed her enormous bed, huge flat screen TV, some sort of game system, and just a full out amazing room. "Cool eh?" She asked as she leaned against her wall. I looked over to her with mock humor.

"Well yeah." I laughed as ran a hand through my hair. "It's kinda somewhat how I pictured it." I smirked as she crossed her arms in amusement.

"You just think you got me all figured out don't you?" She asked as she jumped on her bed and looked over to me. I took a seat at her window bench, leaning against the pillows.

"Pretty much."

"What makes you think so?"

"Didn't we go over this already?" I smiled as I watched her face contort. She placed her arms behind her head as she pulled her knees up.

"Hm..."

"What?" I asked, wondering what was possibly going on through her head.

"I'm just thinking." I rolled my eyes at that remark.

"Well obviously you're thinking. You think every second of your life." She scoffed

"Aren't you the smartass?" She smirked as I felt my face turn pink.

"Sorry..."

"Don't be. I like it, makes you not so boring." She said as she tossed a stuffed animal at my face, her laugh ringing in my ears like a concert. I smiled back at her. "So tell me more."
