Sheesh, watch where you- oh, sorry." I stopped as I realized it was that Miller girl from the game.

"Don't be." She said as she heaved her gym bag back up onto her shoulder. "See ya around some time." She waved goodbye as she headed into what looked to be their school's locker room.
———-
"Hurry up!" Stella barked as she threw her bag into the cargo section. I rolled my eyes as I stepped on the bus. I pulled out my iTouch and put it on shuffle once again. I was in the process of leaning my head against the window when Jules, a fullback, sat by me once again.

"So, we lost." She stated matter of factly. I opened one eye then closed it.

"Yeah, we did." I answered.

"That girl was pretty good, their new Forward." She offered a conversation. I wasn't buying it though.

"Mhm..." I said as I turned up my music.

"Are you trying to ignore me?" She asked as she stuck her face close to mine. I opened my eyes and was startled at her proximity. I sighed as I took one of my ear bud's out, giving her my somewhat full attention.

"No, I'm just a little bit tired. What did you want?" I asked, trying not to sound like a total jerk. She smiled as she fixed her jacket. I raised my eyebrow as if for a continuance.

"Oh, I don't want anything. How's the shoulder?" She asked randomly. I scoffed as I rolled it slowly. If you're wondering why she's asking me this, it's because last year as goalie, I dove for the ball at a bad angle, landing on it harshly. At least I stopped the winning goal though right?

"Fine, thanks for asking." I offered her a warm smile as she beamed at me. When I thought she was done with her questioning, I moved to put my ear bud back in.

"So...." She started again. I sighed in my head as I turned in my seat to talk to her, turning my Music off for now. The bus had just started to leave... great 15 minutes of talking. I promise I'm not an asshole. I'm just so tired and starved.

"So...?" I wondered.

"Where are you going for spring break?" I raised my eyebrow at such a random question. I mean it was only the middle of March; spring break wasn't till April or so...

"Nowhere, I'm staying here and practicing on my skills. What about you?" She quirked a brow at my answer but still smiled.

"Is soccer like your religion? I just joined this year, but I heard from the other girls that you practice a lot, train, and even went to soccer camps when you were younger." This girl basically had my life's bio in her head... "I'm going to visit some old friends up by Eureka."

"Well that's cool. As for it being my religion, no. I don't really have a religion, but uh I guess I like it a lot. Plus, I'm decent enough at it. So why not practice what you're good at?"

"What's your favourite artist?" She asked extremely random. I looked at her with a confused face at first, and then finally she pointed to my iTouch.

"Oh... I don't really have one, but I guess I'd say it'd have to be Tibesti." I said as I blinked.

"Who's that?" She asked with a confused expression. I turned my head to look at the window, my eyes rolling. I turned back to her with a small smile.

"It's a trance DJ."

"Ohhhh you like that kind of music?" Before I could over joyfully respond to her, the bus came to stop, signaling we had finally got to campus.

I quickly got up, moved around her, and exited the bus first. Not before hearing my coach to meet tomorrow morning for practice. I smiled as I jogged to my car, Dodge D.

Just as I was about to unlock it, I got a tap on my shoulder, it was Jules.

"I was wondering, if maybe you could give me a lift home?"

I sighed.

Fine.., get in..
