I walked away, thinking basically what I have for the past hour; things are f***ing intense.

I was starting to wonder if maybe the heat had an effect on my attitude right now, or if it really was all of Jemma's doing.

I wasn't exactly sure if I was comfortable even thinking that, but I did know that it didn't matter anyway and that I was happy. I looked over as I watched Jemma do their team's drills, warms up whatever.

After a few moments, I noticed she pulled her bangs over her ear and looked directly at me.

"So, she's your new toy eh? How long is she going to last?" I closed my eyes and took a breath as I turned to face Marie.

She had a smug grin on her face as she looked at me. I just offered her a toothy grin and patted her shoulder.

"She's my girlfriend." I smirked as I watched her face dropped dramatically as she glared at me, walking away.

I smiled as I continued to do my drills next to Sam.

"I don't understand how she likes you, if all she does is be a bitch."

I shrugged my shoulders. "Well, whatever, did you talk to Jules?" Sam asked as she shot the ball over to me.

"Yeah, we're going to actually be friends and I explained some stuff to her, I hope she understands though... I feel so bad..." I said as I looked over to Jules who just sat there on the bench watching.

I heard Sam gasp, making me look over to her. I raised a brow as she just laughed. "What?"

"Oh nothing, you're just changing before everyone eyes, hopefully you can still kick ass on the field!" She laughed out.

I rolled my eyes and listen to the whistle blow.

I was nervous, but don't get me wrong, I was also excited at the same time.

As much as I didn't want to go up against Jemma, I wanted to at the same time.

I knew she was better than me, and I was perfectly fine with that, but I just wanted to test it I guess; I don't know.

As our teams took positions on the field I kept my eyes on Jemma, as she kept hers on me. I smiled over to her and tried to shake the nerves away as I presented myself in front of their teams captain again.

"You're going to lose again, you know that right?" She said in her creepy boyish voice. I scrunched up my nose and waved my hand.

"Okay, just please stop talking. Your voice gives me the shivers." I smiled as she snorted.

"Whatever." Was as all she said as she chose her coin toss. Looks like Loyola Heights gets the ball again.

I shrugged my shoulders and walked back.

It was only 3 minutes into the game and already I was fighting for the ball against Jemma.

She smiled at me as she danced her away around me, but frowned as I laughed when I dug out in front, stealing the ball.

"You taught me that!" I yelled back at her as I passed it over to Sam. Jemma glared at me as I ran back.

"What's wrong babe?" I smirked. She rolled her eyes, her face turning pink as she ran onward. I laughed again and couldn't help the smile that grew on my lips.

The game was  f***ing hardship; basically meaning, that it was neck and neck.

Jemma kept her distance from me as best as she could, and she did a damn good job at it too. Sweat rolled down my forehead and onto my jersey as I looked at the scoreboard, scrunching my face up as I ran back up the field; 2-1 with Loyola Heights in favour. I was constantly fighting for breath in this battle.

Then I saw something that sent me over with emotions.

Just as Jemma was going for another goal, I stood at a standstill as I watched Marie shove at Jemma roughly.

Jemma lost her footing and fell backwards, her neck hitting the ground first.

As I bolted up field, I could see she wasn't moving an inch.

I began to panic as I saw the red card thrown and the whistle blown. I slid to a stop, and kneeled down beside her.

I whipped the hair out of Jemma's eyes as I noticed they were open.

Her breathing was rough as she looked up at me.

A/N: Oh.. is Jemma gonna be ok? Am i giving u a mild-heart attack? Who knows.. but let see.. hold your breath guys..
