I thought you were uh... going to text me today?" I asked Jedean as we took a seat at the outside table area in front of Starbucks.

She took a seat across from me, leaning back with her feet on another chair, the typical lazy relaxed Jedean expression on her face as she wore her aviators. She sipped on her coffee as a smile came to her face.

"Miss me much?" Her voice sounded really tired for some reason. I furrowed my eyebrows as I tried to read her expression, getting frustrated at her sunglasses. It then dawned on me. She was wearing them so I couldn't do just that.

At least, that's how it seemed to me; then again I'm probably over analyzing. She was actually wearing normal clothes for once... which shocked me. She had on a pair of jeans, a normal t-shirt, and a simple pair of converses. 'Why am I still looking at her...?'

"No... I mean... so why didn't you?" I asked, trying to avoid that question. Now I wished I had my sunglasses to hide in. I watched her give me a toothy grin as she must have been watching me fidget.

"Nerves I guess." She commented as she leaned her head back, the sun catching on her neckline. I swallowed the lump on my throat.

"Nerves...?"

"Mhm, I've felt strange all day, didn't sleep very well last night. I don't know. How was your day?" 'A living hell hole...'

"It was alright, yours?"

"Fine I guess. If you aren't going to admit you missed me, then I missed you." I looked up at her after having an intent staring contest with my cup.

I was chewing on the inside of my cheek. She had a subtle look on her face, and it was starting to bug me that I couldn't look at her eyes, but then I was afraid that if I did, I wouldn't be able to talk.

"Oh..." I squeaked out. I watched as she gave out a weak laugh.

"You're still bugging out over what happened last night in my backyard, aren't you?" I watched as she was rubbing her hand on my leg.

"No... Actually I'm not." I said honestly. For some reason in the point in time, I felt more relaxed than I have ever felt, like ever. "I'm pretty sure I told you that last night."

"Yeah well, things can change overnight you know." She solemnly commented. I titled my head as I leaned forward, trying to see if I could maybe see her eyes through her glasses, dumb.

"What?"

"Are you wearing those because you're tired? Or because you don't like the fact I can read you like a book?"

"Read me like a book eh? I doubt you can just do that. You act like you know me inside and out."

I smiled as I took out my phone to text up Bannie, groaning at the angry text Payee had sent me.

"Then take them off." I said, looking up at her with a smirk on my face.
She bit her lip slightly then licked her lips as she moved her arrangement.

"That's what I thought."

"Oh shut up, you cannot read me that easily." She countered as she leaned forward.

I ran a hand through my hair as I looked at two boys chasing someone who was most likely their sister.

"I'm pretty sure I've gotten almost everything else right when it comes to you." I said in a matter of fact like voice.

"Yeah yeah, ok you're most likely right. However, I'm wearing these because I have a huge headache from not sleeping a lot last night."

"Why didn't you sleep very well?" I asked as I received a text from Bannie, 'Is she hotter today than she was the other day when she kissed you ;)?' Best friends... the most awful girls in the world. I couldn't help but laugh. I looked up to see her head looking in another direction, her bangs gliding over her face as the wind blew lightly. Jesus Christ, why do I keep noticing this stuff? I texted her back, 'Shut up :]'

"I had a lot on my mind." She was being vague again. I sighed as I watched her fidget in her seat.

"Don't want to talk about it?" I asked as I took a sip of my coffee, trying not to stare at her so much, acting like I really was texting.

"Can you stop?" She randomly asked, avoiding my question. I looked up to see her forehead wrinkled, her head directed at me.
I swallowed the lump in my throat.

"Stop what...?

"Texting? I'm sure Bannie can talk to you later when you're not here with me?" Her voice sounded so strange, not her usual self. I set my phone on the table, ignoring Bannie's text. Jedean looked at her watch and sighed.

A/N: So, what's on Jedean minds? What's bugging her? Is she falling in love with Jemma? C'mon guys, leave some comment or opinion...
