Chapter 1 - Pallet Party Panic

Back at Pallet Town, everyone were celebrating Ash's Top 16 achievement in the Indigo Plateau Conference at the backyard of the Pierce Mansion. Ash was standing on a stage with his Pikachu, mother, Alex and Professor Oak.

"I'm very happy to be back home, and to everyone who supported me all through the Pokémon League, I just want to say thank you very much," Ash said and gave a bow. "Pika-Chu," his Pikachu said. "And thanks to Ash, for representing us so well," Professor Oak said.

"And we all own for the Pierce family a big thank you for hosting us today, now let's start the party," Delia said. "First let's salute Ash for finishing at the Top 16 at the Pokémon League, and doing Pallet Town proud," Alex said as he held up his glass.

"Hooray!" everyone called as they held up their glasses. Ash bend down as he looked at Pikachu, "And thank you too, Pikachu. And all the Pokémon." They clicked their glasses together. "Pika," the male mouse said with a smile.

Everyone started to dig in on the food at the tables. Brock looked at Emma, "Did Hanna made all of this by herself?" he asked. "No way, Mom and I helped her," Emma answered. "The food is delicious," Misty complimented.

Emma saw all her Pokémon and her family Pokémon were inside in their room, eating. "Hey, why not let your Pokémon out too?" she asked as she looked at Brock and Misty, not noticing Ash walking closer. "They should all have fun too."

"You right," Misty said. "Yeah," Ash said, "They all deserve to have some fun." Brock pulled out his Poké balls and threw them, "Geodude, Onix, Zubat, Vulpix, it's time to come out and have fun!" Misty threw her Poké balls, "Goldeen, Staryu, Psyduck, you're invited too!" Ash threw his Poké balls, "Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Pidgeotto, join the party!"

All the Pokémon came out of their Poké balls, and then Ash held another Poké ball, "Charizard--" Emma stopped him by grabbing his wrist, "Don't! It's better not to let him out. At least for the time been." Ash blinked and thought for a moment about it. He sighed sadly, "Yeah, you right," he said. Emma turned to all her friends' Pokémon, "Okay everyone, time to dig in, have fun."

The Pokémon all turned to where Emma's and her family's Pokémon were and started to walk toward them. "All right, let's dig in!" Ash said and ran to the side with Brock, and Misty and Emma exchanged an amused look.

"Come on, let's join in," Emma said. "Yep," Misty agreed and they took a step to follow, but suddenly an iron hand dropped from above and grabbed Emma, making her gasp. "Hey!" Misty said as Emma was pulled up. Everyone looked up when there they heard laughing.

"Prepare for trouble!"

"Make it double!"

"To protect the world from devastation."

"To unite all people's within our nation."

"To denounce the evils of truth and love."

"To extended our reaches to the stars above."

"Jessie."

"James."

"Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light."

"Surrender now or prepare to fight!"

"Meowth! That's right!"

"Really?! Now?!" Misty snapped as Ash and Brock ran to stand next to her, all three of them looking at Team Rocket in annoyance. Professor Oak, Delia, Hanna, Jeffery, Jane, Emma's parents and brothers ran closer. "Those three again?!" Ryan asked.

"Hookfang!" Danny called and his Charizard walked out. He looked up and roared, making Team Rocket look a little nervous. "Look at that Charizard," James said. "It's bigger," Meowth said. Charizard flew up into the sky toward them, making Jessie grab into James, "Fly it faster!"
