Chapter 7 - The Mystery of the Missing Pokémon!

The kids were sitting on Lapras while it was swimming in the ocean. Tracey was using his binoculars to look around for any Island, the Pikachu, Misty and Emma were playing with Togepi, and Ash was staring ahead, frowning. "When are we gonna eat?" he muttered next to Emma.

Emma looked over and frowned, "If you hungry, you should have say something 'cause I made some sandwiches," she said. Ash looked at her with a grin, "You did?! I'll have one." Emma opened her backpack with a sigh, amused.

"Me too."

"I'll like one too."

Emma handed three sandwiches to her friends in amusement before taking one for herself. She pulled out Pokémon food and placed it near her so the Pikachu and Togepi could eat.

Tracey took a bite from his sandwich and looked through his binoculars to find an Island for them. "Hey, there's Mandarin Island right up ahead!" he said when he spotted the Island.

Ash looked over, "Mandarin Island?" he repeated. "Mandarin Island is a huge city with skyscrapers and all kinds of neat stuff," Tracey explained. Misty took the binoculars and looked through before lowering it down with a frown, "Well, it doesn't look like a tropical Island."

"Who cares?" Ash asked with a frown. "Yeah, we should head there so we can give Lapras some rest and some food," Emma pointed out. "Yeah, let's go Lapras," Ash said with a grin and the baby Lapras called out happily.

After reaching to the Island and Ash returned Lapras into its Poké ball to rest from a bit until they find a Pokémon Center.

"Voltorb, don't come any closer!"

"Magnemite, just get back into your Poké ball!"

The kids looked over in surprise when they heard the shouting and saw two older kids backing away from four Magnemite, a Grimer and a Voltorb, all Pokémon were glaring at them.

"Pi?" the Pikachu asked. "Looks like trouble," Tracey said. "Let's go and find out," Ash said and they all started to ran forward. The Pikachu suddenly stopped in front of the kids, who looked down at the female and male mouses in confusion.

"Pikachu, what's wrong?" Emma asked. "Why did you stop?" Misty asked. The Pikachu both turned to look up at the kids, glaring at them. "Hey, what's going on?" Ash asked as he and Emma looked at their Pikachu in surprise. Togepi suddenly jumped out of Emma's arms and glared at the kids as well.

"Togepi? Pikachu?" Emma asked in slight concern. "Is something wrong?" Ash asked with a frown as he stepped forward. His Pikachu used Thunder Shock, which send the kids backward. Ash looked at the male mouse, "Pikachu!"

The Pikachu and Togepi just glared at the kids before turning around and walking over to Grimer, Voltorb and the Magnemite. "Hey!" Emma called. "Pikachu!" Ash called as he stood up, "Togepi!"

He ran forward but stopped when the Magnemite floated around him, "Get away from me!" The Magnemite used Thunder Shock on him, making him shout in pain. "Ash!" Emma shouted. "What's happening?" Misty and Tracey asked together.

Ash stepped toward the Pokémon painfully, not letting the Magnemite's Thunder Shock stop him. Voltorb rolled forward and then exploded. The kids covered their eyes as the smoke appeared and slowly disappeared. They looked around to see the Pokémon were gone.

"We need to get out of here," Tracey said. Emma frowned, "Togepi! Pikachu!" she called as the two other kids called out for their Pokémon as well.

They heard the police sirens and saw Officer Jenny driving closer on her motorcycle. "What just happened?" she asked when she stopped. "Officer Jenny, our Togepi and Pikachu are gone!" Emma said. "We got to find them!" Ash said.
