Emma and her friends have finally approached Pummelo Island, riding on Lapras. "Well, there's Pummelo Island," Tracey said. Ash grinned and nodded, "Yeah."
"Pika-chu."
Ash looked at his male mouse, "Nothing's gonna stop us now." The male Pikachu smiled, "Pika-Pika." He and the female Pikachu sensed something, "Pika?"
Lapras looked to the side, sensing something as well, and Ash and the male mouse were sent into the water since he was standing. Lapras stopped and looked over at her trainer.
Ash got on top of it, "I guess I went a little overboard." The kids looked over and saw a figure flying along the water. "What's that?" Emma asked. Tracey looked through his binoculars to get a better look as the figure started flying upward at incredible speed.
"Togepry!"
After some time, the kids had reached to the Island, and were at the port and headed to the reception desk to sign in for Ash's battle. "Hi, I'm here to battle for the Orange League trophy," Ash said.
The receptionist smiled, "Another one, eh? Let me just verify your individual badges." He scanned the four badges, and turned to his computer, "Well, now, it says here that you came all the way here from Pallet Town, Mr. Ash Ketchum, is that right?"
"Yeah, that's my hometown," Ash said. Emma glanced over to see Tracey wasn't next to them and turned to see he was looking at the statue of a Pokémon named Dragonite, and sketching it.
The receptionist turned to Ash, "Okay, Mr. Ketchum. Your winner's trophy match is scheduled for tomorrow morning at ten o'clock sharp at Pummelo Stadium."
Ash grinned and looked at his Pikachu, "Alright, let's get going, Pikachu," he said. "Pika," he said. Emma grabbed his arm before he left, "Uh, Ash, I think you are forgetting something," she said as she fought an amused smile.
"Like what?" Ash asked. Emma let the smile appear and raised an eyebrow, "Like, directions to the Stadium." Misty smirked as Ash rubbed the back of his head. The male Pikachu sighed, "Pika-Pika."
The receptionist chuckled, "I can show you the way. Follow me." He walked around the desk as Misty looked at Tracey, "Trace, let's go." Tracey quickly followed, and they all walked out.
The receptionist leaded the group to the stadium, "Well, there it is," he said, "Pummelo Stadium. Where you will have your big battle tomorrow."
"Wow. It's huge," Ash said. "And this, this is the Palace of Victory," the receptionist said. as he pointed at the smaller building next to it. "Palace of Victory?" Ash asked.
The receptionist leaded them inside, "Well, that's the official name. But most folks know it now as the Orange League Hall of Fame." Tracey looked at one of the two statues of Dragonite at the entrance, "Hey, look. That same statue."
The kids then followed the receptionist farther into the hall as he explained about the pictures that around, "All these photos and displays and trophies are here to offer every trainer who's been victorious in the Orange League since the establishment of the winner's trophy."
"Ohh," Ash said in amazement. "To get into the hall, a trainer has to defeat the four members of the Orange Crew and the Pummelo Gym Leader in a full Pokémon battle," the receptionist said.
"What's a full battle?" Ash asked. "That's when you both battle with 6 Pokémon," Emma answered. Ash looked surprised, "Six Pokémon?!" The male mouse looked slightly surprised, "Pika?"
Tracey looked at him, "This isn't gonna be easy. You will have to think hard about the Pokémon you're gonna use."
"And a six on six Pokémon match could last a pretty long time," Misty said. Emma smiled, "But, you will be in the Hall of Fame forever when you win it."
