Chapter 27 - The Stun Spore Detour

Emma and her friends were staying on an Island for a rest. Misty and Emma were next to the cabin next to a small lake they and the boys found when they got to the Island, while Ash went somewhere, and Tracey went somewhere to explore.

Emma was making now lunch and Misty was helping her, while the girls' Pokémon were all outside resting, except for Togepi and the female Pikachu. "That smell amazing," Misty said with a smile.

"Thanks, I wanted to try something a bit different, hope it taste good as the smell," Emma said with a chuckle and she took the tray with the cut onion that Misty cut. "You don't have to worry about that, you always make delicious food," Misty complimented. "Thanks," Emma said.

Misty's smile faded slightly, "Oh, and you shouldn't be carrying that pot around in your backpack, even if it's not that big. Let Tracey or Ash carry it in their backpacks," she said. "They carry some stuff for me already," Emma said.

"Yeah, but a pot should be carried by one of the boys, like Brock did," Misty said, "Since Ash is your boyfriend, he should be the one to carry it." Emma blushed, "He's not my boyfriend." Misty smirked before it dropped when they heard crying.

"Pika-chu-Pi!" the male mouse called in panic, as he ran closer. "What's wrong?" Emma asked as she stood up, and the male Pikachu stopped in front of her, calling out in panic. Ash and Tracey stumbled over, and the girls noticed that the boys weren't looking very well.

"It, got us," Ash said and they both fell on the grass, leaning their backs against each other. "What happened?" Emma asked. "We both fell into a Vileplume's head," Tracey said.

Emma and Misty gasped. "You breathed in Stun Spore!" Misty said. "Can't move," Ash said quietly. "Oh no," Emma said, "Let's get them into the cabin."

Scizor and Poliwrath helped the girls get Tracey and Ash inside and lay them down on their sleeping bags. Emma quickly went into her backpack to see if there was more Stun Spore antidote left. "Do you have more Stun Spore antidote?" Misty asked.

"No," Emma said with a sigh. "What do we do?" Misty asked with a worried frown. Emma grabbed the map, "I'll see if there's a Pokémon Center near us to get some medicine." She frowned, "Which happens to be thirty miles away on another Island."

Emma and Misty sighed. "Pika-chu-Pi," the male mouse said sadly. Emma looked at Misty, "We'll just find some other way for Ash and Tracey to get better." The male Pikachu looked at Ash, and tried charging a Thunderbolt, but Emma stopped him, "No! I don't think we can shock the Stun Spore away."

"Pika," the male mouse said sadly. "Wait!" Emma said and pulled out her Dexter, looking into Vileplume's antidote.

An effective Stun Spore antidote can be made by boiling the leaves of the Salveyo weed. Salveyo weed is found on clear lake bottoms wherever Vileplume live. Poliwag are also found in the vicinity of this plant.

"Poliwag?" Misty asked. "We got to find Salveyo weed," Emma said Misty looked at Emma, "I can go and search for the Salveyo weed, you stay here and take care of Ash and Tracey." Emma hesitated to let Misty search by herself, "Okay, but you take Poliwrath with you."

Misty nodded, "Okay." Emma looked at Poliwrath, "Poliwrath, go with Misty, okay?" Poliwrath nodded, "Poliwrath." The girls walked out and Poliwrath followed. "Be careful, and take my Dexter with you," Emma said and handed her Dexter to Misty.

Misty nodded, "Got it." She looked at Goldeen and Staryu in the water and at Psyduck near, "Goldeen, Staryu, Psyduck, you three stay here with Emma." She looked at Poliwrath, "Let's go, Poliwrath." Poliwrath and the redhead girl ran away as the female Pikachu felt Ash's forehead. "Pika," she said as she looked toward her trainer, "Pika-chu."
