Emma and her friends were walking through a foggy forest for New Bark Town in order to register for the Johto League, however the kids seemed to be walking for hours.

"Pika-Pi!" the male Pikachu suddenly said as he stared up at a branch, and he kids stopped walking. "Pika-Pika."

"What, Pikachu?" Ash asked and looked up to see the branch, "Yeah, that branch looks familiar." Emma raised an eyebrow, "Ash, are you saying..." The female mouse sighed, "Pika."

"I think we lost..." Ash trailed off. Misty sat down with a groan, "Now we've been walking around in circles all day! You said you knew where we were going and we're totally lost, now! Where do we go?!"

Ash looked over at her in annoyance, "Well, if you're so smart, why don't you be the one to decide?!" Misty stood up, "That's a good idea. I'll find a way out of here." She looked around as Ash crossed his arms over his chest.

Emma sighed, "Oh great," she muttered. "Come on, Misty, let's go. We're waiting for your directions," Ash said. Misty glared at him, "Don't rush me, Ash! I just have to think!"

"Well, this is gonna be a brand new experience for you."

"We're not lost cause of me! It's a shame that having a girlfriend didn't help with your sense of directions!"

"Guys, stop!" Emma said. "Yelling never solves anything so just calm down," Brock said, "You two have to learn to be more mature like me and Emma."

Suddenly, something caught Togepi's sense, and it happily jumped out of Emma's arms. It started to walk away and the Pikachu followed. "Pikachu?" Ash asked, "Togepi?"

Ash and Emma quickly followed them into the woods and saw a glowing blue figure of a some sort of Pokémon standing on a rock in the middle of a lake. Misty and Brock caught up to them.

"What is that?" Emma asked quietly. "A Pokémon," Brock said in amazement. "It's beautiful," Misty said, and the Pokémon looked over at the kids.

"It sure is," Ash said. The Pokémon ran off, and Ash rushed after it, "Wait! Come back!" Ash ended up sliding down the edge, followed by the Pikachu and Togepi. "Ash!" Emma called as she, Brock and Misty ran over, but then the trio slipped down as well.

After more walking, the kids reached outside the woods, all of the them and the Pikachu were exhausted. "I don't think I can go much further," Misty said. "Me neither," Brock agreed.

They stopped at a road sign and Ash and Emma smiled. "Hey! Look what that sign says!" the boy said. "New Bark Town!" Emma said. "Alright!" Ash said.

"Maybe we'll see another one of those Pokémon we saw in the woods," Misty said. "Hey, yeah," Ash said. Brock read from the sign, "'New Bark Town. This way to The Town Where the Winds of New Beginnings Blow'." He smiled, "Yes! Our next adventure starts right here!"

"Where Winds of New Beginnings Blow. I can almost hear the crowd at my first Johto League match. Ash thought with a smile. He took a deep breath and nodded, "Yeah, I'm ready."

Misty blinked, "What do you think he's ready for?" Brock crossed his arms over his chest, "He's ready to overcome every obstacle to achieve his ultimate destiny." Emma nodded with a smile, "To become a Pokémon Master."

"Oh, that," Misty said. The male Pikachu hopped on Ash's shoulder as the boy spoke to him, "The journey starts right now, Pikachu! Look out, Johto League, we're on our way!"

Emma smirked, "Ash, you can't got to the Johto League until you're registered," she said. "Oh yeah, that's right," Ash said and she chuckled as she took Togepi into her arms. "I know the way!" Brock suddenly said, "Come on."
