Chapter 25 - The Power of One

A/N: To be honest; at first I didn't thought about writing the second movie... but I decided to give it a shot. I hope it came out great lol. And please you guys comment.

The kids were now at Butwal Island in the Pokémon Center. They were stuck in the Island for now due to the fierce current, and had to wait until the ocean will calm down. Ash was pretty annoyed by that because he wanted to get to the next Island for his final Gym battle, "How long does it takes for the ocean to calm down?"

"I don't know," Emma said with a shrug. "It's been two days," Ash said. "We know," Misty said slightly in annoyance. A young woman was walking by and she stopped next to them when she heard them, "Hey, the water is calming down a bit, but if you need to board a ship to leave, the ships will in another day."

"Aw man," Ash said with a sigh. "Pika," the male Pikachu said, sounding disappointed as well. "Thanks," Emma told the nice woman. The woman thought for a second, "If you don't mind me asking, but are you guys in a hurry?"

"A bit," Ash said, "I need to get to the next Island for my Gym battle." The woman nodded, "So, you guys are Pokémon trainers, yeah?" she asked. "Yeah," Ash said with a smile, "My name's Ash."

"I'm Emma."

"My name's Misty."

"And I'm Tracey."

"My name's Maren, nice to meet you all," the woman said with a smile, "I've been here for two days too, and since the ocean is calming down, I'm gonna head out on my boat."

"You have a boat?" Tracey asked. "More like a little ship, but yeah," Maren said with a chuckle, "You guys need a lift?" Ash smiled, "Really?" Maren nodded, "Yeah, why not?"

"That will be great, thank you," Misty said. "I'm just gonna grab something from Nurse Joy, you guys wait here, I'll be back in a moment," Maren said and walked away. "Thanks," Ash said and they grabbed their backpacks.

After Maren came back, she took the kids to her boat. The kids were looking around as Maren climbed up on the roof and started to drive. "I heard there's a Gym at Kumquat Island, is that where you guys need?" she asked.

"Yeah," Tracey answered. "Okay then, I'll take you guys all the way there," Maren said. "That's awesome, thanks a lot," Ash said. "Pika-Pika," the male Pikachu said before he and the female mouse hopped on the railing at the front. "No problem," Maren said.

Tracey, Misty, Emma and Ash leaned on the railing while looked at the ocean. "The ocean looks so calm now unlike earlier," Emma said. "It's sure is," Ash agreed.

Emma smiled as she looked from Ash to Misty and Tracey, "Hey, why don't we let out our Pokémon to have some fresh air?" she asked. "You guys can do that." They looked up at Maren, she smiled down at them, "It will take us about two hours or so to get to Kumquat Island, so there's plenty of time for the Pokémon to have some fresh air."

Ash smiled, "Well, what are we waiting for?" He threw a Poké ball and released Lapras into the water. It called out happily and Emma threw two Poké balls, "Come on out, guys!" She released Poliwrath and Gyarados into the water next to Lapras.

Ash threw two more Poké balls and released Bulbasaur and Squirtle next to Maren. Emma threw her other two Poké balls, releasing Murkrow and Scizor on the boat. Tracey turned to the front and threw his Poké balls, releasing Venonat, Marill and Scyther.

Misty threw her Poké balls too, releasing Goldeen and Staryu into the water. Emma chuckled as Togepi jumped up and down on the boat floor, wanting to be up on the railing. "Be careful now," she said as she picked it up and placed it on the railing.
