Friday had come sooner than I expected and I never thought I would hear myself say this but I really wish it didn't.

This party was giving me all kinds of anxiety.

On the bright side the gossip around the school about the incident had died down after the bigger drama of someone in the school being allegedly pregnant became known Wednesday morning.

I was still getting a few stares here and there but it was definitely better than what I had to deal with Monday morning when I walked into the school.

After the bell rang signaling the school day was over I walked towards my locker and see a figure standing beside it. Recognizing who it is I decide to ignore them rather than indulging into the bullcrap.

Not today Satan, not today. I mentally say.

Walking around them to get to my locker I managed to open it up without being bothered until they spoke up "Sky, can you talk to me. You don't understand.. I'm sorry about every-" I held my hand up.

"Don't apologize to me. A real friend would've never done what you did. That was wrong on all the levels of this earth. So take that apology" I tossed my books in my locker and slammed the door shut. She noticeably flinched but I ignored it and kept going "and shove it up your ass along with anything you else have to say to me." I turned and walked towards my car.

I could tell she was still standing there watching me walk away but I didn't care, I was over it. She and him could have a grand old time and leave me the hell alone.

Karma is a bitch and they'll get theirs soon.

By the time I reached my car, Dina was already waiting for me.

"Woah what's wrong you look like someone just stole your chicken nuggets " She laughed but when she noticed I didn't smile back and only hopped into my car and started it she quickly hoped in with a frown and asked what was wrong.

As we drove I explained to her the bullshit that Kayla tried to sell to me and by the end of the conversation she was as upset as I was, if not even more.

"She tried to apologize? You should've punched her in her face. Did I tell you she tried to hit me with the ball during practice today? We were working on technique but we were on the same team and the bitch hit me in my head with the damn ball. She said it was an accident but I know better than that. You know what? I'll kill her. I'll kill them both. I'll shove that ball down both of their throats. How dare-" she stopped when she noticed the car wasn't moving and I was bursting out with laughter.

This is why we work, she usually says all the things I'm thinking without me even having to say it. She's usually angry for the both of us especially at those moments when I'm not but I should be. She's the one who explains my inner feelings even when I can't and this is why we're best friends.

"Why are you laughing?" She frowns. "It's not funny. I'm angry." She says while lightly hitting my arm.

"Come on let's go lunatic, get out the car we need outfits." I said laughing stepping out the car swinging the keys in my hand. We went to Forever 21, H & M, even Victoria Secret because according to Dina we needed to take extra precautions for every possible outcome of the night. Even though I assured her there would be no reason for me to.

We decided that we were going to get ready at my house and she'll just spend the night. As we made our way home I heard her laugh and noticed she was staring at her phone.

"Who are you texting that has you giggling like a preschooler so much?" I ask suspiciously.

"Alec. By the way I think Luke is going to the party. As long as he doesn't bother me and go all big brother on every male that comes near us. I'm fine with it " She says before going back to texting. I furrowed my eyebrows and focused on the road.
