Although I didn't want to go to school the next day I had no other choice.

I had too many absences already this year and since the school year was practically over I couldn't miss anymore days.

I barely slept all night and by the time I fell asleep it was 5 in the morning. Which only gave me an hour until I had to get up for school so I just decided to skip the sleep and head straight for the shower.

I looked at Dina's sleeping form in my bed and walked straight to my hallway bathroom. I decided against using my own because my music would probably wake her up and I didn't want to disturb her until after my shower seeing as it was still early in the morning.

I spent the next hour dreading every second of today as the water ran over my body. I didn't know what was going to come but I knew it wouldn't be anything good. I stayed away from all social media this weekend due to me not wanting to see people already talking about our breakup online. I hadn't even touched my phone since Saturday.

Once I got back to my room I saw that Dina still hadn't got up so I went a shook her lightly until I saw her eyes open. "You have to get up. Mom will kill me if she finds out I missed a day of school again." I say as she gives me a nod.

"What time is it?" She asks before looking at my bedside clock. "It's 6 o'clock. How did you manage to take a shower already." I shrug and walk to my closet to pick out todays outfit.

"I didn't sleep last night so I got a head start for the day. Do you want to stop at the cafe and get breakfast? We have time." I ask.

"Yeah we can get breakfast there but you need rest." She says giving me a worried look.

"I'll be fine. After I get a iced coffee and a bagel, you'll think I slept 10 hours straight." I say making a joke.

"Skyler-" She starts to say but I cut her off.

"I'm fine. Just please go get in the shower. I already put your towel in there." I say and she huffs before walking into my bathroom.

I knew today was going to be warm so I couldn't wear my usual comfy clothes which sucked. So after some searching I grabbed my black tee that says 'Honey' across it and a pair of black biker shorts.

By the time Dina got out the shower I was sitting on my bed and slipping on my sneakers. When I stood up I saw her look at me from head to toe. "What?" I say.

"You getting thick." She says and we both laugh.

"Shut up." I say playfully shoving her. "Hurry up and get dressed so we can go eat. I washed your jeans that you left here last time. There in the last drawer and if you need a shirt don't hesitate to take one."

"I wasn't going to." She says and I stick my tongue out at her which makes her laugh. "Leave so I can get dressed."

"Alright. I'll be downstairs." I say before closing my bedroom door and heading to the kitchen.

I saw the sun shining bright and decided to go out to test just how hot it was today and as soon as I stepped outside I was glad I didn't wear my sweater shirt.

Groaning, I fast walked to my car and unlocked it. I sat down in the passenger seat and flipped on the AC before getting back out of my car and walking back in the house.

Now don't get me wrong, I didn't hate the summer but I also didn't like it. It always got really hot around here once summer hit. The winter time truly was my favorite. Not only because I loved snow but also because I could wear my fluffy sweater and and not die of a heat stroke.

I knew Dina wouldn't take long but I knew by the time she was ready my car would be all cool inside.

Once I got back in I noticed her in the kitchen talking with Marco. She had on a pair of jeans along with a plain black tee shirt. I knew by the time the afternoon hit and it got hotter she would regret that tee shirt. "It's pretty hot outside. Are you sure you want to wear that?" I ask her.
