"If you honestly think that than you're stupider than I thought."
"Obviously I am since I was dumb enough to think sleeping with you was a good idea."
At this exact moment, Alec and I were watching a fight break out between our best friends.
What started off as a simple disagreement on what kind of pancakes are better soon escalated into something deeper than chocolate chip and blueberry pancakes. They've had a pissy attitude towards each other since they woke up and I'm almost sure it has something to do with whatever Dina said to Marco after they woke up rather than the other way around.
"You know what screw you Marco." Dina said before storming off to the back.
"You already did princess." Marco yelled before storming off outside.
I turned my head towards Alec to find he was already matching my expression.
"I think Dina met her match." I say wide eyed.
"I was just going to say the same thing about Marco." He laughs before getting up and grabbing my hand. "It's time to go do some mediation." He says pushing me towards Dina's direction.
"How did a fun weekend turn into a game of stop our friends from killing each other so quickly?" I say while towards the back. Alec laughs and heads outside.
I continue down the hallway until I find the room Dina was in. I knock softly to which I receive a grunt in response and I make my way into the room. Closing the door behind me I walk towards the bed that is currently holding Dina who was laid out like a star fish.
"Care to explain what that was about?" I ask kneeling beside the bed.
"Not really." But what she really means is 'yes I do but I'm going to act like I don't care first'. I nod my head and mentally start a countdown.
5..4..3..2..1. Boom.
"It's just, ugh, infuriating. Like everyone knows blueberry pancakes are better than chocolate chip. He's such an idiot he doesn't know anything." She says angrily throwing her arms around.
"D, you barely even like blueberries." I point out and it's true. She would pick chocolate chips before blueberries any day therefore I know this wasn't about the pancakes. She was just going against anything Marco said because she was upset.
"Well," she paused "I'm trying something new. They really aren't that bad and it's healthier than chocolate chip. Blueberry all the way." She said raising her fist in the air. Rolling my eyes, I climbed onto the bed next to her and told her to sit up, which she fully complied to.
"Pull that crap with someone who doesn't know you. You literally have a stash of chocolate chip in every space you could find in your house and mine. You think I don't see you sneak pieces of it when you walk into my closet but I do. Now tell me what's the real reason why you look like you're two seconds away from ripping Marco's head off his body." I say getting to the point.
"I slept with him." She says quietly.
"Yeah, I know but it's something more to that."
"We slept together and it was good. We were drunk but we sobered up after awhile and we talked. One thing led to another and we ended up naked on top of each other." I grimace.
"Really not necessary for all those details but proceed."
"Then I wake up and he was just staring at me and I asked him why. Do you know what the asshole said to me?" She jumps off the bed.
"What?"
"He said I was beautiful. I mean who says that to someone early in the morning then I ran to the bathroom to puke my guts out and he ran after me. He rubbed my back and stayed throughout the whole thing even helped me brush my teeth after. Then when he was done he says 'see now you feel as beautiful as you look'. I mean come on we already slept together. What more could he want from me? Well the answer to that was a date. Which I almost agreed to because he was so freaking cute but I know guys like him."
