When I woke up the next morning I was greeted with the sight of Alec's face pressed into my chest.

Although my bed was big enough for him to turn and forget about the prison his arms kept me in, he didn't. Instead he held me to him all night and no matter how many times we switched sleeping positions his hold never let up.

As much as I'd like to deny it I actually enjoyed being held by him.

Maybe the protected feeling I felt at the cabin wasn't because of the cabin, it was because of him. I thought to myself before instantly shaking any idea of it from my head.

When Dina's personalized ringtone of Hannah Montana's true friends rang throughout my bedroom I gently tried to remove myself from under his grasp but instead it caused him to further tighten it.

After struggling a little more with no progress I let out a huff and leaned over him as best I could and grabbed my phone.

I bet this guy could sleep through a damn avalanche.

Looking at a still heavy sleeping Alec I roll my eyes and re-dial Dina's number. The phone barely rang once before my best friends screeches filled the air.

"The day is here. The day I've been counting down for is finally here. Gosh can you smell it sky? Can you smell all the food we're going to devour today?" She says moaning and I laugh.

"Well good morning to you too and the only thing I hope I'm smelling right now is your moms butter glazed cake that she knows I love so much." I say.

"She made two this year. What do you say you hurry up and get over here so we can steal one before the others come. We can go eat in the treehouse but we have to hurry  because once mom is up she'll be watching that cake like a hawk." And I immediately try to jump out of bed but I stop when I remember Alec's arm. I groan.

"God I'll try to be there quickly I'm just being held up by a fat oaf." I say to Dina not wanting to give out information because I know she'll never let me live this down.

Before Dina could even reply said oaf spoke, "Sugar plum you call me a fat oaf and yet here you are planning to steal a cake." Alec says with a deep voice that makes chills run down my spine. Narrowing my eyes, I look at Alec who's lifting his head from my chest and placing it on the pillow behind him.

"Once you taste that cake I bet you're going to be planning to help steal the cake to and don't think I didn't hear you literally just call me fat."

With a chuckle he says, "Hey if the shoe fits wear it and lace them up."

"How about I stick that shoe up your-" I start to say before I'm cut off by a scream through the phone.

Shit. I forgot she was there.

"SKYLER IS THAT A BOY I HEAR? WAIT AREN'T YOU HOME? OH MY GOD IS ALEC IN YOUR BED? OH FUCK I JUST FELL OUT OF MY BED. OH MY GOD I WASN'T PREPARED FOR THIS. DID HE SPEND THE NIGHT? SKYLER YOU BETTER ANSWER ME RIGHT NOW." She shrieks and I grimace.

Before I could even get a word out my phone is snatched from me. I turn my head to see Alec hanging up on Dina. My eyes go wide ready to curse him out but then I noticed him face-timing her. When she answers he smiles.

"Good morning Dina. How are you?" He says to a wide eyed and gaping mouth Dina. Like a fish she keeps opening and closing her mouth and her eyes travel further down the screen.

"You have no shirt on. Skyler, he has no shirt on." Dina says pointing out the obvious. This makes Alec laugh however I'm as red a tomato.

"We'll be over there in a little Dina. I just have to shower and we'll be on our way." He says.
