Ch.6

"I love him but he's wrong for that. He should've picked star. Alex is nice but seriously Star all the way." Dina said shaking her head taking a bite out of her pizza.

Dina and I were currently in our pajamas laying on the couch while watching Star. We both loved this show, her more than me though. She was in love with Luke James.

When we first started watching the show she only watched it for his voice and face but now she watched it because she genuinely liked the show.

To her, his face was just a plus now.

I nodded, "I know but you know they had to keep the storyline fresh. Although we already know he's going to end up with Star. I swear if he doesn't I'm writing an angry letter to the producers." I said also shaking my head at the TV.

"Just like how you did with Law and Order. " Dina snorts.

"In my defense they should've let Carisi and Rollins be together. I mean how could Dick Wolf not expect angry letters about the whole situation. He's always at her place helping her with the baby and it's obvious they like each other. If the producers thought those letters were bad if they take him off like they did with Stabler and Olivia there will be 100 more and he doesn't want that." I say angrily stabbing my ice cream.

"Yeah okay crazy." Dina says before turning back to the tv and I huff.

It's not my fault I had a strong opinion about these things. I get that you have to change the storyline to keep shows new and fresh but come on somethings TV shows did were ridiculous and absolutely ridiculous.

For example, not letting Rollins and Carisi be together that's just poor judgement. I understood that the show wasn't over yet and they could potentially be together in the future but they might as well just let it happen now before she pops out anymore kids by another man.

As the end credits rolled before the new episode started we heard the front door open. "Anyone home?" A voice rang through the house.

"Yeah. We're in the living room." Dina shouted back.

"Mom said she'll be home tomorrow morning. Grandma's back is still acting up so she's-" He says as he gets closer but stops when he realizes I'm there."Oh hey Skyler I didn't know you were here." He says glancing at Dina who rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, she's spending the night too." She says giving him a smirk.

"Hi Luke. Is grandma okay?" I ask and he nods.

"She'll be alright but I still don't understand why she won't come to live with us. It'll just be easier instead of driving almost 2 hours away every time she throws her back out." He says shifting on both feet.

Grandma Bonnie was Dina's 85 year old grandmother who was to stubborn for her own good. She still lived in the home her and her first love, Papa Ralph, bought together 40 years ago.

After Papa died she refused to move out of that home because of all the memories they held.

"Well you know she likes her independence." I say smiling and he nods.

"Yup she is stubborn but I'm just going to go upstairs. It was nice seeing you Sky." He said before rushing up the stairs before I had a chance to say anything else.

We then heard his door close. I turned towards Dina and gave her a look.

"Wow I run track and even I'm surprised at how fast he just ran up the stairs." She said laughing. I playfully hit her shoulder and start to get off the couch.

"I'm going to go talk to him and I'm taking my ice cream. You can't be trusted." I say while grabbing the bowl and walking towards his room.

I take my time trying to figure out what I was going to say.
