The next day at school we all got together with the partners that we worked with the day prior. I kept my head down and myself quiet. "What's your problem?" I turned over to face Calum with his arms crossed.
"Why do you need to know? Is that any of your business? " I turned to face him with the sharpest death glare I could give. "You're not acting like you..." Calum sounded different. Sincere?
"You're not acting like you, since when do you give a shit about anything?" I pointed out.
"...Im sorry..." He silently said then ran my fingers through my hair.I turned back to face him "Did I just hear you apologize?...seriously what's wrong with you!?" I asked looking into Calums chocolate eyes.
"I asked first." He said crossing his arms. I grunted. "Fine...well last night I broke up with my boyfriend of three years...you, spill it." I demanded
"I don't know...a lot of stuffs been happening..." He shrugged his shoulders not really giving me an answer. "Well I hope things work out for you..."
Fast forward to the end of the day... I went to my parents bakery. An order was placed that needed to be ready for Tuesday. A dozen cupcakes with white frosting and pearls, and a nice three tiered cake. Wedding?
I've decided that they'd be ready for Tuesday if I worked on them Sunday and Monday, there were other things that needed to be worked on...
"Oh hunny do you know the boy that's coming in all next week to help out? The school you go to assigned a student here..." My mom asked me while kneading a big pile of fondant.
"I don't know anything about that mom." Monday was the day we were supposed to be getting extra help. My parents say the never need help; but since it's just opening up, I say they need as much help they can get.
