I made my way back to the kitchen, and poured a cup of vodka. Someone else was in the kitchen, making a plate of food or something. "Hey um do you know where Luke is?" I asked the guy with spiky hair.
He turned around to face me. "No I don't, but I can call him if you want?" He offered. "You don't have to but thanks for the offer." He pulled out a fork from Luke's drawer. He must come here often to know where they are?
"Sheesh you must be really going through something to be drinking like that. What's your name?" The guy in with the spiky hair asked me. "Hazel. What's your name?" I asked him back. "Michael and then Clifford. Are you from America? You have a bit of an accent..." he took a bite of a wing.
I nodded my head "Yeah I get that a lot." Luke stumbled into the kitchen through the large crowd of people. "Oh hey Mike, Hazel." Michael looked up at Luke, acknowledging his presence. "Luke I have to talk to you now." He grabbed a beer from the fridge. "Oh right I didn't come back. My bad. Damn why are you drinking straight liquor? You're gonna get trashed."
"Luke I really need to talk to you..." I said once more. "I wish I could but, I have someone over right now." Luke disappeared back into the crowd of people. I was shocked Luke did that. "You want Luke's number? So you can bitch him out the right way?" Michael offered.
I took the number from Michael, "Thanks, I really appreciate it. Luke is going to hear a lot tomorrow morning when he's hungover. I can't believe he did that." I swallowed another sip of the drink in my cup. I was getting wasted. Again.
"What did he do?" Michael asked. "He set me up and left me on the spot. How do you know Luke?" I asked Michael. "We've been friends for quite a while."
