I woke up the next morning with dozens of missed calls and texts from Kyle. I had to get ready for school, so I pushed all that to the side. I got dressed in a pastel orange top, and blue ripped jeans. I went downstairs and make another smoothie shake for breakfast. Lemon, pineapple, mint, watermelon, cucumber, and mango.
I then took this and an opportunity to go through everything Kyle texted me.
K: Hey I miss you!
K: When is our next date?
K: Hellllooooo?
K: Are you sleeping? That was only a few of them, but there were plenty more where that came from. He even sent me a paragraph to wake up to.His clingy ways were a little odd considering I just met him yesterday, but I pushed it to the back of my mind. I took off to school and made my way to class. When I got there, I showed up a little early and texted Kyle.
I told him that when I got home, I showered, and went to bed. He responded back rather quickly. We texted each other for the next ten minutes. First period went well, I did my work and minded my business.
Third period came up. My teacher had us move seats. Thank goodness. I was glad. Things today were working out in my favor a whole lot. It was the middle of the period. The school secretary knocked on the door, and walked inside. She was holding a vase filled with red roses inside.
"Hazel? Someone dropped these off for you." She said with a smile and walked away. I was shocked. Kind of embarrassed because I interrupted the class like that. Everyone was staring at me. Including the teacher. "Alright everyone let's get back to the lesson." The teacher said. Calum looked at me from across the room and crumpled up his eyebrows, almost a jealous look.
